Just picked up a new one.

Very happy with the new Fat Lady Swings. Ugly club but man it rolls nice, on some pretty slow greens I could see the ball digging for the pin and resisting being knocked off line by bumps and grain. The half cup shape helped me square it up nicely on longer putts and I felt the distance control was the best of any putter I have ever used bar none. Short putts where I was a little timid wound up like any putter when you dont square it up. Putted for a whole hour after buying it because it felt so good. I am playing tomorrow so I will post again and let any interested folks know how it went. BTW paid 130 out the door. Kind of expensive for me but I couldnt walk away from it. Hopefully I can retire the long putter which is a nuisance and not the best for longer putts.

I have an original Fat Lady that I bought when Nick Price was tearing up the Tour in the early 1990s. One of my all-time favorites. It's dinged up, and I need to cut about an inch off the shaft, but when I get around to it I might send it to Lamont for some cosmetics.

Enjoy that putter - had mine in the bag for years.

Just got back from the course, she is a good putter for sure. I have been using a new system for tracking putting where you count the feet of putts holed. There is a corresponding putting hdcp for the system and I went from putting like a 25 handicap to putting like a 10 handicap over night. Didnt make any bombs but she held her lines nicely and I didnt have one 3 putt the entire round, a rarity for me. I have nothing but warm feelings for my purchase and the long putter is officialy on the sidelines. BTW that putt scoring system is pretty interesting, I always manage to keep my scores in the 80s (sometimes 70s) but never realized how badly I putt until I started this system. I read about it in Golf Digest (I think last months) it has definitely re-focused my practice priorites.
