Players Towel..

Those do look nice, buster. What's the measurement on those? Also, the site shows that black is only available with the white border, is that not the case any more or did you twist some arms? Either way, those look good. Might have to order a few once I make up my mind!

The reason I like them is they retain an amazing amount of water without dripping all over the place, and they'll stay wet for an entire round. Plus, they're substantially lighter than your standard golf towel. They're the best I've used by a country mile.

I just usually take an all white bath towel when I stay at a hotel. One end is dirty end one end if clean end.

buster....those are great looking towels. Micro fiber towels are the best for staying wet all round.

They look tiny.

That pic's kind of deceiving. They're pretty large by any standard.

I had one. Lost it. That's the last time I pay $30 for a towel. It was an impulse buy, but it was a nice towel while I had it.

I have one and I love it. Easily the best golf towel I've ever had. If I were to lose it--which I shouldn't because it's attached to the towel loop on my bag--I'd get another one in a heartbeat. I might order a personalized one soon just for the heck of it.

I'm wondering about the black with red border too. I wouldn't mind one of those.

they are less expensive now (I think $20).. standard size.. and I too used the hotel towels until I was at q-school on the putting green at San Juan Oaks two years ago and someone had left one of these behind with the Bandon Logo and the putter slit (which I thought was really smart)... I asked around and left it in the pro shop for someone to claim. When everyone moved on the guys in the shop ordered some for themselves and gave me the one I found.. I got in touch with Patrick a year or two ago (it seems)... he's a decent guy and the towels are really good... plus you can get them customized and so forth... btw.. I still use all the amino vital towels I accumulated.. and the USGA towels from the champs etc.. sometimes I just like the terry better.. but these are great.. I seem to got through phases with towels (no froggers yet)... we used to have these sweet royal blue caddy towels at our club but they were so nice everyone stole 'em... nice club I belong to... LOL

^, no there is a slit in the middle of the towel to put around your putter if you like. I have one and I agree its a great towel, stays wet and cleans the clubs well.

love the towel ill definitely get one soon

same here. one horizontally and one vertically, to prevent my MP33s from chattering too much.

My $2.99 2 pack, plain white bath towels from Target work pretty good for me. Just sayin..

those new black ones look great. I usually order in bulk with custom logos and then hand them out as gifts to golfing friends.

I'm still using a blue and white Taylor Made towel that I bought in, I think, 1987. It cost eight quid. It's still going strong and albeit a few of the loops have been pulled, leaving the odd track through the pile, it cleans the clubs as well as it ever did.

It hasn't got my kids' names embroidered on it next to the coat of arms of the place where my dog was born or anything, but the fact it's still going after twenty three years and God knows how many rounds of golf qualify it as a decent bit of kit in my book.

Just received mine today. If anyone is thinking of getting a PlayersTowel call and speak with Patrick (tel. number on website - www.playerstowel.com). He is very pleasant to deal with and can go over the different color combinations with you.
The towel is pretty large - 41" x 21-3/4".
I chose the flag of Puerto Rico with the name of my family's hometown - Bayamon.

I ordered two identical towels. I plan on giving one to my father for his b-day. I look forward to receiving them.

I googled waffled microfiber towel and similar sized plain towels sell for about the same price. I got my name on this one and a reinforced putter slit. Sounds decent to me.

What's great about these towels, is the microfiber and the size of the towels. You can soak one end that will stay dry for the whole round, without it getting heavy and soggy like a cotton towel.

My buddy is a caddy at Bandon Dunes and bought two of them for me. They are great towels. Now I need to get back up there to buy a couple more.
