Switch drivers man....you seem like you are trying too hard to keep you 9015D in the bag.... just my pennies after seeing your posts. I just got the Ping i15 and it appears (don't have much time with it yet to say for sure) to be MUCH more forgiving than my 9015D.

lol, although I understand the fixation on optimizing launch numbers. Try the old Nike One Platinum.

Ok, you're right. I just love the look of the head. I've been trying everything to get my spin and LA up. Even lessons - which have helped the most, but still fall drastically short of hitting the ball optimally. I just can't get any spin on the golf ball with the 9015d.

I guess I'll start looking for a new driver.

TCMP..... just because a bunch of guys on this site like that driver doesn't mean it is right for you. Think of it this way, there is a thread dedicated to guys that can't hit it and have had enough of trying to make it work....I'm one of them! I do agree with everyone else, that when you hit the 9015D solid, it is a flat out CANNON. I, like many others, was in spots on my local course that I've never been before when I hit it well..... but then again, I was OB a lot more than I've ever been too. The consistency of that club for me was non existent. I would stand on the tee and think "ok, where is this drive going on this hole?" NOT THE WAY TO START A HOLE. Also, I think that the manufacturing tolerances of Adams (in terms of how square or open the club face is) may make the driver more or less playable.....perhaps.

Like I said, I just switched to the i15 and so far, it appears to be a bit more forgiving thus far. Who knows man..... just my pennies.....

I play a low spin/low launch driver the 9015d. I was wondering what the highest spinning/highest launching golf ball is off the driver?

You might find the GD's ball test results (see link below) to be of some interest...

You guys are exactly right. I just gave up on the 9015d today. I went to TGW and hit about every driver on the market that also suited my eye.

The results: G15 12* with Regular flex TFC shaft!!!

SS: 104-107
Ball Speed 153-157
LA 13.6-15.1
Spin 2900rpm

I hit this combo straighter than anything else in the store, including:

Adams Fast 10
Adams 9032LS
Titleist 909D2
PING I15
R9 460
R9 supertri
Burner Superfast
Cobra ZL
Cobra S2
Callaway FT9

I went straight out to the course and hit some BOMBS!!! It was so nice not having to worry about getting the ball in the air. I used a Z-Star ball for the round in 25mph winds. GREAT BALL!!! Went really high against the wind, but never ballooned.

If you really want to keep the driver in the bag give the Srixon Z-Star a shot off the tee. Launches much higher than a ONE Tour for me but does not balloon even into the wind.

+1, I'm a mid spin/mid launch player and this ball in awesome...I SWITCHED! Also many people could benefit from your honest interest in improving your game, I'm a 3 handicap and my SuperTri is 11.5* and I can bomb it...BB

Fairway: Titleist 917F2
Hybrid: A-Grind
2 iron: Ping Rapture

Yeah, not so sure about the regular shaft for a guy with your swig speed, but if you are comfortable with your new stick, more power to ya!!! Good luck.
