v2 65 gram to v2 75 gram

any experience?

while i love the v2 65 gram shaft i have in my driver, i sometimes have problems of losing control of the club in my swing. i prefer heavier shafts (aldila nv-75 in my other drivers, steel in my woods and hybrids). i found going from the aldila nv-65 to the nv-75 was a huge change; lower spin, lower trajectory, tighter dispersion. is the difference between the v2 65 gram and the 75 gram similar to my differences in the aldila, or do they play the same except for the weight?

There are more detailed specs in the anser, but in general according to Titleist:

Proforce V2 65 is a lightweight shaft with a mid/high flex point, medium/stiff tip and medium butt. This shaft plays similar to the Proforce V2 55 with lower torque at a heavier weight. For medium tempo golfers with average swing speeds looking for medium launch and spin.

Proforce V2 75 is a mid-weight shaft with a mid/high flex point, medium/stiff tip and medium butt. This shaft plays similar to the Fujikura 757 at a slightly lower weight. For medium/fast tempo golfers with faster swing speeds looking for lower launch with lower spin.

I've got a 905R with V2 55 on order, and I'm interested to see if what I hear (the shaft is very stable for a lightweight shaft) is true.

I've recently changed my driver shaft to a V2 75 X. I had a Diamana 63 in it before and although I could hit it long I got the feeling every now and then that the head took over.

I had the original Proforce 75 in a TM 510 TP and it was solid. I tried the V2 65 and 75 in Ping G5's and again the 75 just gave that solid, consistent feel that I like. To be honest there's probably not that much in it. It's all about persoanl preference and you need to be comfortable and confident with what you're using. The 75 launches slightly lower and the 65 is the best if you're looking to hit a high draw every time. I like to shape my shots and I often need to keep it fairly low with the driver so i'm a happy boy at the moment.
