A friend's A.O.P, O.C.C Newport I refinished....

A friend of mine recently asked me if I'd refinish his Scotty Art of Putting Oil Can Classic (I think that's the correct identification of it) Newport for him. He didn't like the rust (which I absolutely liked very much) that had built up on it over a decade. He wanted it freshened up. The only direction I had on it was that he wanted it dark and simple paintfill. I did a little extra with the paintfill, as I thought about doing white only, but I instead went with White with Copper accents. I think it turned out great considering all of the oxidation and pitting it had once I stripped it down. Let me know what you think.

I only have to reassemble it. He wanted to save the shaft and grip that was on it, but I'm going to advise him to change it eventually because it, too, has a little rust on it. I'm doing what he wants though and saving the original grip and shaft and putting it in the head. We'll see how he likes it.
