Attention Mizuno lovers!
This bag has been a long time coming. I won't bore you with my journey of equipment hoeing, but I assure you that it has been long and costly.

This final bag comes from a little bit of trial and error, but mostly error. My first mistake was selling my first 9015D. It was just too good for me to get rid of, but sometimes these forums lead to bad things on cold Canadian winter nights.

Here's the setup:

Driver: Adams 9015D 10.5 degrees, 44.5" Diamana Blueboard 73S, GP BCT Cord (Match made in heaven, I upped to a 10.5 and a higher launching shaft after some swing changes and I couldn't be happier)

Driver #2: Callaway FT Tour 10.5 degrees, 45" Aldila RIP Beta 70 stiff, GP BCT Cord (Still getting used to this, but I like the feel and it looks bada**)

3-wood: Adams 3070DF 14.5 degrees, 43" Matrix Ozik Lime Proto Stiff, GP BCT Cord (I can't lie, I bought this cause the shaft is green, I love it, but I keep it because it is the best feeling shaft I've ever played, great height and distance off the deck and tee)

Hybrid: Srixon 22 degrees, 40" Graffalloy C-note lite Stiff, GP BCT Cord (I bought this for the shaft but it is a really solid head with a nice shape, reminds me of an Adams PNT with a little more size, great high flight, easy to hit anywhere)

Irons: Mizuno MP-14's 4-PW finished in Black Oxide, 1 degree flat, 1/2 inch long, Nippon Super Peening Orange stiff soft-stepped once, GP BCT Cord (built these myself, doweled, swingweighted (D3 4-6, D4 7-9, D5 PW), just unbelievable solid. I'm sure that I shouldn't play blades, but I love them and it makes it fun for me.)
I actually have another set of MP-14's that I'm going to send to the iron factory this summer some time

Irons #2: Mizuno MP-29's 4-PW in a raw finish, 1/2 inch long, KBS Stiff soft-stepped once, GP Victory Green Full Cord (I had these ground custom to remove the pointy top of the toe and to square it off a bit. I was super happy with the work and they look great, but swingweighting was difficult, hence the mass amounts of lead tape, but what the heck, I love lead tape :clapping: )

Wedges: Tour Issue Fourteen MT28-V5, 52 bent to 53, 58 standard loft, both ground by Joe Kwok, DG Spinner shafts with GP BCT Cord grips (Wow, great wedges, still getting used to them a little, but unbelievably solid)
I also have a set of Chikaras that I'll be putting together next week, we'll see if they truly are spin machines.

Putter: Ken Giannini Carbon Steel Flow Neck. 360 grams, white Premio grip. Awesome putter but will soon be replaced by a Lamont Hand Milled putter (gotta go pick it up, it's name is Big Timber and here's a link to some pics http://s654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/MannKrafted/HandMilling%20Works/Big%20Timber/)

thast a sweet looking set up, love those irons.

How do you like the devotion so far?

Did you hit the 9015d withthe stock shaft, the 60s ozik?

If so, can you describe the difference in ball flight of the old vs the new? Ive got a 9015d withthe stock ozik but Ive got a devotion SB 06, 5 flex on the way.

Nope, not too expensive. Call it 200-250 a set or if you have raw heads, just give it a go yourself with some blackener.

I have some raw heads i would like to try myself. Can you provide some tips and also info on where to get the supplies?

The 9015D is the best driver I've ever played. It feels unbelievably solid, great flight, lower spin and just hits bombs. I will never get rid of it again. I was pretty lucky to find another head in this good of condition.

Yeah it's definitely a great driver head! By the way where are you located in Ontario? I'm from Ontario as well! Just north of Toronto.

Those irons are spectacular. Those 14 wedges are great as well. I'll be interested to hear your comments on the chikaras. I got a 53 & 58 last week. I get a bit more spin then the cg15s I'm gaming but not as much as I thought I would, especially since the groves are fresher. I've also had a little trouble hitting the high lob...only 2 practice sessions and 9 holes with them though...wedges take some time to get comfy with..

I have to second that statement, I really like these wedges, but I haven't played as much the last couple of years and my short game pays for it a little. I'm hoping this summer will be different and I can get some quality practice in with them and give a true analysis.

Nice Bag

Love the MP-14's and the Fourteen wedges.

How do you like the C-Note shaft? Always wanted to try those out.
[/quote]

Minimal trial, but so far, great shaft. Really nice flight (highish which is good for me, but it could be the head that launches a bit higher than most too). Nice combo for me right now and fills a really nice gap for me.
