I just gave the current ONE series ball a good chance this year. I have always dabbeled (SP?) with Nike balls that I liked, One Black, TA2 LNg/SPN, even the old TA-DD.

Anyways, I have been playing the ProV1x for the last two years without much concern, but I went to a Bridgestone fitting day where the results stated that the X would fall out the air with the X and they recommened the B330-S. I however throwup a little in my mouth when I fork over $45 for Prov1's and I don't think that $42 for the B330 would help much with my vommit reflex, so for an experiment I picked up a dozen each of the ONE's. I really thought I would like the D's and I do, but the regular ONE Tour just stays in the air for so long, It is easy to see the difference. plus the greenside spin is better than what I had in the X, I will buy these balls until they are gone.

The Nike One Tour is every bit as good as anything else out there. At $29.99 a box, it is a no brainer for me. $40+ for balls is a rip off whatever the brand.

Titleist TSi2 10
Titleist 917F 16.5
Titleist 917F 21
Titleist 718 AP3 4-48
Titleist Vokey SM7 52
Titleist Vokey SM8 60
Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2

No! They are not. They just can't compete with Titleist, taylormade, etc.

Pompous post. I have played them all you listed and completely disagree about your statement. ANYHOW, i am definitely enjoying the pricing of 29.99 for some of the best balls made, but of course want something latest and greatest as we all do. Hope we see a spin monster from Nike!

I think ALL OF YOU misunderstood me. I am not saying the ball is not as good or better than titleist and taylormade, I am just saying that they can't sell their balls for 45 dollars like Titleist and Taylormade can. In fact, I think the Nike One tour may be the best ball, definitely for the price.

I just purchased a case of One Tour D balls from GPPgolf.com for $19.95 a dozen. I had been playing the Bridgestone B330S and the ProV1X this year and like others stated, I was tired of paying $40+ a dozen. From my play of just 3 rounds with the Tour One D I'm loving it. I like the flight of the ball off long clubs (I always found the ProV1 and ProV1x to have a "loopy" kind of flight). The D gets good run on it even if I hit it a bit high. It stops easily on a green and the cover seems to last a long time. I know Taylor Made talks about their LDP technology that makes the ball forgiving. The D must have something similar, because I've had a few mishit irons that felt ugly but still got to the green. For my game and swing speed the D is definately longer than the ProV1X. I've never been a fan of Nike balls before (the swoosh just bothered me for some reason). That's now changed.

All that you said has NOTHING to do with what this topic is about. NEW NIKE GOLF BALLS!-----"What day is it today?"--"I believe it's going to rain" :p

In fact I am the only one who answered the question.

Actually you didn't answer jack. Obviously the price drops on the new balls are because a NEW line of balls are going to be rolled out sometime in the near future. THE QUESTION was has anyone heard of when the new balls are coming out or what they are. You didn't answer crap budday, nice try though. So let's try again... We don't want any opinions on the one tour or the comparisons between other balls, we want to know about Nikes' new ball! And YES! They are coming out with new balls..

Nike had the One Tour line on sale last year $60 for 2 dozen. Did a new ball come out this year? No. Nike is likely coming out with a new ball for 2011 (most companies release new premium balls every 2 years) but when have you ever seen a new ball released in the middle of the summer?

If they were releasing something new soon, someone on tour would be playing it right now (Tiger's ball change doesnt count still technically a One Tour). As people stated before, Nike likely discounted the One Tour because their sales are down vs the competition.
