but it needs some work -- opinions please

I was walking through my local golf store today and saw this in the used section. I promised myself if I ever saw another of these I would buy it, even in the crappy condition it is in. Luckily the insert is flawless but the guy who previously owned it obviously didnt know what a head cover was. So here is my question. Do you think this thing is savable and who should I send it to. Preferably someone who can get it back within a reasonable period of time.

Check out Lamont golfluvzme on golfwrx he does some terrific refinishing work he may be able to bring some life back to that one.

cool. i saw one of those at my golfsmith in East Brunswick, NJ for like $70, wasn't sure if it was worth it. It definitely needed some love, and perhaps even a black finish. I would have also needed to cut it down a couple inches. So all in all it would have been closer to $150. let us know what you've done with it.

thanks for the advice. i took it to the course and started making everything with it. i figured id give it sometime before commenting back but im still making everything with it haha. so im going to have to wait until after the season for the spa treatment. looking through lamonts work i will def go to him for the refinish.

btw if anyone ever sees one of these buy it -- no matter how hideous. its amazing to remember how great the whitehot inserts felt before all the xg and ice and sheiit.
