2010 Bridgestone E5 and E7

started playing the E7 about a month ago. I really love this ball as far as distance and approach shots. But i have some E5 on order i want to try them because of the spin people say they have around the greens my only concern is my driver ss is around 108 and im afraid with the high ball flight they may spin to much off the driver and cause me to lose distance. Has anyone played these balls that can give some info on the spin and distance of these balls. i will continue to play either one but i would love for the E5 to work because of the urethane cover!

I picked up a dozen e5's to play last weekend, and was pretty impressed. The ball is not super long however it has a great feel. I did not notice a significant increase in ball flight height, however the ball did hold the greens quite well. I would give it a shot, however if you love the distance of the e7, the e5 may be a little shorter than you are used to.

In sort of the same vein, I'm a fan of the e6.....good balls!!

e5 is a very good ball. Doesn't spin as much as the b330 line, but it performs as well as anything else in it's price range. It's miles ahead of the e6 and e7.

Well i got these balls (E5) and tried them. I absolutly HATE this ball!! the e7 is way longer and spins just as good on full iron shots. This ball does not check up on chips like people say. I do not know what the hype is about with the E5. If i continue to play bridgestone it will be the E7!! But im considering changing to srixon as ive been playing ad 333 which is way better than the E5 in the 2 piece catagory. Also got some z star gonna try them out but im not the one to pay $40 a dozen for balls!! Anyway its either srixon ad333 or bridgestone E7 we will see what makes in the bag as my primary ball!!

Count me in as a fan of the e7. Picked some up on a golfing trip recently and was very impressed. I was worried about giving up some spin around the green (typically play a ProV1), but that was forgotten by the end of the day. Posted a good number and I am definitely a fan now.

Have not tried the gamer. But its hard to make myself play with a TF even though i know they are 10 better than what they use to be!!!

Yea if you play a bump and run style game around the greens like i mostly do you cannot beat the E7!! I avg around 290 on my drives with it i useally have a couple of 300-305yd drives in a round. And the ball will spin on full shots just not chip shots!! The E7 is a great ball that i may end up staying with!!
