Rife Abaco or Nike Method #003

Currently have a Odyssey Whit Hot XG #9 but looking for something new. I like heel shafted putters with half shaft offset so was thinking about these two options. Maybe there is something else I should consider?

I putted with these two along with the Odyssey Black tour yesterday. I can get over the odd shape of the Abaco, the Nike was nice, but the Odyssey was perfect for me. Clean lines, nice feel and good distance control. I play a Bettinardi BB16 and would like to try the new one that they make, the Studio Stock #4, which is our of stock.

I would choose the Odyssey first, followed by the Nike and then the Abaco.

Also, you might want to add the cleveland classic #2 to that list. It is a solid putter and knocked my Fastback out of the bag. It also has a pretty nice shape.

What you should look at is the RIFE Abaco Collector Series. Black Rainbow finish 1 of 500 numbered. Custom fit to your specs.

The cleveland mentioned above is a sexy putter. I have the abacco. I like it a lot on firm greens; however, when greens are spongy I have a hard time getting a good starting roll off of it. I guess it comes down whether or not you like the roll bars on the rife putter line.

It has to be the Del Mar California. i've never hit the ball as bad as i am right now but i'm still scoring well,with the Del Mar everything inside 10 feet is a gimme

I sent my White Hot #9 to the closet a month ago. I was really tired of the soft insert.

To tell you the truth, I went out to purchase a PING B60. I hit several putts with it, but wasn't sure this was [b]the one[/b].
Then, kind of as an afterthought, I looked at the rack and kind of said, "what's this?" when I saw the Rife Abaco.
I just loved the roll and feel of it from the first putt I hit. It's really helped my game.

Had this putter, sold it. Couldnt get used to the horrible feel of a Rife. The roll was great, but felt like rolling a 2x4

The new Odyssey black tour is a really good putter. I also use a Nike Method. The Nike is very good IMHO, but *right now* the Odyssey feels better. I haven't even tried a Rife in over a year after experimenting with them during the "Senior tour rage". The Rifes felt great at first, but were soon replaced.

LOL...great post. I have been playing the same putter White Hot XG #9. I just ordered a Method #3 tonight after spending 2 hours hitting all types of putters today. The roll and feel is far superior to anything. I can't wait to get mine at 33 1/2" like my White Hot. I hope the head is heavier than current setup.
