Putter Head Style Suggestions

Yes if you are a straight back and straight through putter, you need a face balanced putter. Any toe hang will just end up not helping you at all, center shafted putters will help, considering most of them are face balanced

You need a faced balanced model. I'd check out the Rife Barbados center shafted putter...nice feel and roll.

If you are a Straight Back Straight Thru Stoke Golfer, then 9 times out of 10 a Face Balanced Putter will help you. This can be done with a Long Neck, a Double Bend Shaft Setup, or a Center Shaft Hosel.

I would also look at your Length, Lie and Offset.

I would like to see your ball position and alignment too. If you are playing the ball too far forward in your stance and perhaps your shoulders are a bit open this will help to pull the putt.

As usual I'd suggest finding a SAM PuttLab and a fitter/instructor to work with.

Oh, and an anger management class might save a few putters from premature death too.

Get someone to watch your stroke. Some players think they are sbst but they actually go outside on the way back and this can cause a pull.

Face balanced with a full shaft offset is great for straight back and through. I use and recommend an Odyssey #5.

If you pull putts AND hit them off the toe mostly, a face balanced-center shafted putter will help most, according to Taylor's Tour department putting lab. HOWEVER, all of this will be better if you have more waist bend at address which will allow you to more easily stroke the putter straight back and through.

Go to your nearest golf store & try out one of the Odyssey Backstryke putters. It will be different...but should fix you up. Let us know how it goes.
