Is it wrong to bring a putter to the delivery room?

Haha are u rolling putts with it or did u bring it to get it out of the car?

What does the delivery room floor measure on the stimpmeter... I imagine it rolls at least a 15...

Heh, hardwood floor is rolling faster than the "bikini-waxed greens" at Augusta. I'm getting some odd looks from the medical staff.

True story when my mother in law was delivering my wife their first child my father in law left the hospital to go to a Steelers game. He just made it back with 10 minutes to spare to see his daughter born.

Holed 14 ten-footers on the carpet in the outside hallway before being called back in. Her contractions got closer together (like back to back) so they're giving her meds to space them out more. Will see if I can continue the "streak" when she gets some relief. There's a five-year-old in the room next to us who looks like he's got game. Might have to challenge him to a round of putt-putt. Hallway rules of course.

Funny you should mention that as I have fond memories of my old YES Callie. We're having a girl so I brought it up, only to have something thrown at me, followed by the suggestion that I was a "stupid a**," whatever [i]that[/i] was supposed to mean.

It's a very recent phenomenon allowing non doctor men in the delivery room, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. When I was born (1980) there was no way they were allowing dads in while the mom was delivering. 25 years later it was expected when my kids were born. If this is your first child, it's a spectacular thing to witness. Very few things in my life compare with being the first person to hold my newborn son, though putting well is one of them

She is now 6 centimeters. Four more to go. Word to the wise: you should not compare those last four centimeters to a "tap in," even for the sake of morale. That just cost me the use of the putter in the delivery room, as declared by "[i]she who is very tired of being pregnant.[/i]"

Putter was "retired" sometime ago.

Slowly, but surely, we are getting there. My wife is resting now, so I thought I would spend time posting here till things speed up again. Gotta love this forum!

That freakin' five year old took ten cents off me in hallway putting. Okay, I let him win...really. Still waiting on my new golfing "buddy."

So what do your inlaws think of your delivery room shenanigans? My guess is that they probably wouldn't take it too well if they were there.
