Nike Tour D

I have always played Pro Vs and other high end balls that sell for 40/doz, well I recently picked up a few dozen Nike Tour D balls (on sale from 40 for 25) and these are very comparable, and a great bargain.

I think you all should give them a try. Any other opinions?

Nike One Tour and Tour D are amazing golf balls. I used to play titleist then found a nike one tour on the course and have been converted. The durability is amazing.

I was checking the Nike Golf website, and I can't find which model spins more on short iron shots. Can anyone help out with this? I was a fan of the Black/Platinum balls, and I would like to try these out now that the price has dropped. Thanks!

The Tour is the ProV and the Tour D is the ProVx. The Tour is the spinner one.

I recently started using the Tour D after seeing them on sale at golfgalaxy for 29.99. It is a really good ball and for the money you really cant beat it. Im affraid that it will be short lived as im sure the reduced price is because Nike is probably coming with a new ball to replace it. I had got lucky and found some Srixon ZUR balls when the newer Zstar was released and I had picked up 11 dozen for 19.99 each. That lasted me a little over a year...I am hoping the Nike Tour D will be similar and if they go on clearance for about 20 per dozen I plan to pick up a bunch of them.

I've been playing the D on and off since it came out. By far it is my benchmark for balls, from a value standpoint.

Costco web site had them on sale 2 dozen for $40 which included shipping. I stocked up.

I bought a bunch of these balls from LGB for $7.95 a dozen for AAA quality. I got to play 3 rounds with the Tour D this weekend, and I was really impressed. The ball never got away from me with the driver, and I was able to back up full wedge shots a foot or two. But the spin was never outlandish. I think I will definitely play this ball for quite awhile.

In fact, I had the best rounds of my life this weekend. I have been working hard on my game, and taken a lot of lessons, but I feel that the ball helped a little. I never had a ball run off the green, and I was driving the ball really well for me. But even when I hooked a drive, it did not go off the planet, so that was really nice. Plus for $8 a dozen, they really are a great deal.
