I have a soft spot for my home club... Royal Perth Golf Club.

Royal Perth is a great test of golf, it is not a long course but the green complexes are challenging and it can be tight from off of the tee.

Last year Royal Perth held the Handa Australian Senior Open (Won by Michael Harwood) and only 4 of the 70 players managed to break par over 3 rounds.

[size="3"]Some feel it is overrated, and certainly it's overpriced, but my favorite is Pebble Beach. The combination of location and history is addicting. Been lucky enough to play it three times and I like it more and more every time. [/size]

I've played most of the Golf Digest top 100 but Sand Hills is the top course on my list.

Sea Island, GA - Seaside Course - immaculate and had the best greens and aprons I've ever seen. The practice facility and range of pros there was amazing. Food and amenities - tops. Would love to get a guy-trip down to play the 2 or 3 courses around there; then go play Sawgrass at JAX airport coming in or going out.

Whisper Rock - Scottsdale, Arizona - invited by a friend who is a member. Really nice experience - made you feel like a tour pro. Beautiful course, excellent service. Fun to see the "Sr. Member Tournament" winner was Gary McCord; and Phil Mickelson and other pros as members.

Its a toss up between Shinnecock Hills and Cypress Point.

Victoria National - Evansille, IN

A real low key gem in the Midwest. Every time out feels like you are playing a different course. It can be set up for so many various looks. The personality of each hole seems to change every day.

I had a good weekend. 27 holes on Saturday at Kemper Lakes (past PGA site) and 18 Sunday at Black Wolf Run (Kohler - site of 2011 Womens Us open). I have played Whistling Straits also - and that would be my favorite. Although the whole Kohler - America's Club experience is over priced.

Cabo Del Sol, Ocean course, amazing scenery lots of fun, but I'm afraid my golf game didn't allow me to appreciate the design and challenge of the course as I should have

Dallas National Golf Club, amazing conditioning course, wonderful topography for anywhere, but especially Dallas. It was my first (and only) experience with a fore caddie and it was a blast. Fun to see how the "new money" other half lives for an afternoon.

Southern Hills Country Club, Tulsa, OK. Amazing conditions, only way to appreciate the elevation change is to be on the course. three of the first 5 holes are very difficult (in my opinion) and really throw you off your game, when combined with the "oh my gosh, I'm playing a major champsionship course ... and who knows if I'll ever get to play again" feeling you get on the first tee. Walking and carrying made it feel even more like a real golf experience.

Wekopa Saguaro are my two favorites.

Riviera CC...I'd put it up against any course in the world for the least land area used for 18 holes without one even marginally bad hole. Most courses that don't have a large footprint have a few forced holes. Not at Riv. Even more impressive is that there's not one water hazard on the course. Just an unbelievable design IMO.

Royal Dornoch and Pine Valley - not sure which one comes out on top.

Sand Hills Golf Club

Pinehurst #2, hands down. Huge fairways, NO water in play, but one of the greatest challenges in all of Golf- true Donald Ross gem. Can't wait to see the Open there again.

Recently played Atlantic Golf Club (Bridgehampton) which was in MINT condition, great experience (didn't hurt that the caddie made me look like a good putter) but something kept it from being tops...interested in anyone else's thoughts.
