Got a sleeve of these given and am seriously glad I didn't pay money for them. I didn't think anyone made such a bad ball these days. Stone hard, no spin and flew very flat. Other WRX'ers avoid like the plague!

Just because you don't like it dosen't mean its a bad ball. The ball just dosen't fit you......and actually it is softer than the Pro VI...

Softer than a V1? Where are you playing, the side of a volcano in 140 degrees heat? This ball is a rock, the V1 is a quality ball. I love the 330RXS and 330S and expected this ball to have at least a modicum of feel and spin but it plays like a stone.

Are you sure you are not confusing the E5 witih the E6 or E7???? The E5 has a very soft urethane cover and spins great on wedge shots, it is two peice and doesnt perform as well on some shots as the ProV or similar for some people, however from my experience it is a good all around performing ball especially for the mid range price. Again only two peice construction, but a very soft cover and good partial wedge spin.

If you are looking for an all around performing high performance tour quality ball this is probably not it, but if you want a ball that spins, with wedges, and probably too much for high swing speed hitters off the longer clubs IMO this is a great choice for the price range.

E5 compression=103, Pro V1 Compression=98. E5 cover hardness=79, Pro V1 cover hardness=78. So they are very close in compression and cover hardness.
