denver golfers?

I just moved to the city and am looking for some people to play an occasional round with. I shoot low to mid 80s and live in the DTC area. I'm mostly available on weekends. Any takers?

Here is a recommmendation for you.

The Ridge at Castle Pines North has a deal. Where you pay 850.00 ( if purchased buy January 31st ) where you get range access and then last minute fill rates ( day of play or day before after 3pm ) for 25 dollars during the week and 35 on the weekend ( up from 25 last year ). It is a great deal as it is one of the nicest cources in the Denver Area. I am bias and think it is the best course on the front range.

-Great course
-35.00 dollars to play on the weekend is a good rate ( 125.00 rate )
-Range is very nice - as well as putting and chipping green
-Folks are very friendly here. I started playing as a single and within weeks I found a couple groups I would play with regularly.
-Pace of play is always good. Because they do not allow walkers ( unless Valor is out playing )
-The staff are very friendly

-During peak season it is sometimes hard to get the 35.00 rate until after 10 or so and there are times you could tee off after 1/2 o'clock
-The phones on Friday are full at 3:00pm - so if you get lucky you will get on early, if not you are looking later in the day. I got sick of the 3:00pm game on friday and just bought the season pass this year. Plus, you get to make times a week in advance.
- They have a good amount of tournments, but usually not on the weekends. The tourments have been down over the last three years due to the economy.
- This is minor, but they are very proud of their food and draft beers as it is pricey to eat and drink their after a round.
- Cart Path only during early spring and late fall. Plan on cart path only from opening to Memorial Day ( unless they are having a tournment they will let them on ) and Labor Day til Close.

I used to live In the area and now live in North Colorado. I try to play different courses and not stay in a rut of the same one over and over. I really enjoyed the local amateur tours one is www.frontrangegolfclub.net they are basically a traveling mens club, great way to meet new guys and play all over the metro area.
