Believe he has the Odyssey 330 mallet but it appears to have the tour finish....anyone know where to get one of these? Love that putter but really like the darker look.

I saw in the WITB post of this site that he's supposedly using a White Hot #7 but the neck on the putter is totally different.
Can anyone confirm or deny what model he is using? Based on the pics I am seeing it certainly looks more like a 330.

it looks like the white hot #7 to me. saw a close up of the face yesterday and its definitely the original white hot face. It has a plumbers neck where I believe the #7 had a double bend shaft. Looks like the white hot tour finish on it as well

Here's a pic... so it's gotta be some sort of prototype or hybrid of the #7 and 330

So will Odyssey offer this model that he is using?
Could the guy putt any better before they try to sell this? I know he has a deal with Srixon....but that doesn't mean they can't produce this putter.

Original White Hot #7. The finish appears to be quite dark which could be from being so old (circa 2001), it could be blackened, or it's bronze like the white hot tour series.

I'm surprised Odyssey (Callaway) isn't doing anything with this club on the retail side. If his putting at the US Open wasn't enough of a case to re-release it... there was the Ryder Cup.... then there was the Chevron and then this past Sunday at the Hyundai. Seems to me they are leaving money on the table not selling this product. I'm willing to bet this model would out sell the Backstryke easily if they were able to market it....not sure if they can anymore unless they don't show GMac.

Anyway, the reason I am so interested is because I randomly picked up the 330 series a few weeks ago and started hitting balls with it at my local shop and it felt great. I was curious to see how that putter feels since it seems so similar. I'm in the market for a new putter this winter and I think the 330 or the SC Fastback 1.5 are my 2 leading candidates.

they make a White ice 330 but the finish on it looks cheap, kind of like something you might see at Target. I would have to sand blast it if I got one!

its not a 330, its a white hot #7 with the white hot tour finish with a white hot tour grip too even his website says its a #7. if you google mcdowell eyeline it will show you a close up of his putter, clearly showing it has 2 sightlines the # 7 has and clearly not what the 330 has. basically its a prototype

Well I want the White hot #7! And if I can't find it, I will have to go with the 330.

Can anyone out there make a Odyssey Tour Nr 5 look the same as this by changing the neck etc?

Or if i get the original Nr 7 can they change the colour etc?!

i have been trying to get it finished with the tour finish!

I picked up a used 330 plumbers neck from a used bin for $40.00 last March and had the best putting season I've had in years. The ball doesn't skip or
bounce off the face, just a nice end over end roll. Really improved my ability to judge pace and resulted in a lot less 3 putts.

I just had the Odyssey #7 refinished by him but he is currently not taking any clubs until 5/15
