Every season I buy a sleeve of all the tour quality balls then try them out for a few holes.

For the last 2 seasons, nothing has beat Srixon Z Star and Z Star X. They perform great, are durable, have super feel, perform well in the wind ........I like them, alot!

i too play the srixon z stars

they spin like crazy

(if not ill play prov1)

Love the srixon trispeed. i get more distance from it than any other ball ive played.
and also big bertha red when i can find them. its more of a confidence thing. when i start going downhill ill pull out a couple and i just tend to get back on track.

Bridgestone B330S is my current fave.

Like the Srixon Z Stars as well.

Pro V1 still best ball around the greens IMO but I get too much driver spin with them and don't think they are as long as the Bridgestone or Srixon.

+1 on the Trispeed; I get excellent distance and feel with my swingspeed on the slower side.
Fell in love with the TF Gamer V2 last year; stocked up when they were having a good sale at Dick's

Summer: TMTP Black, the only true, tour quality, premium, 3-piece urethane covered ball for less than $30.

Wet Cold Winter: Anything softer and less money than the above that *I* get enough spin out of. Right now, the Precept EV Spin is working ok.

Pro V1 x for me. Tried just about everything out there, still haven't found a better ball.

Top Flite Gamer V2, good distance for average swing speed and will stop on the green. 3-piece for $19 doesn't hurt either!

I game the Titleist ProV1*, I need the best to break 100.

Bridgestone E6 - less spin off the driver.

I don't find a great difference in all of the top balls They are all long and provide me enough spin. That said I have tried the new Bridgestone B330 and it is very long. I have only played it in the cold weather so, I can't coment on the spin, but I am intriged.

Currently playing Nike PD Long (red box). Good compromise of quality and cost (too many get fed to the water trolls...).

Wilson FG-Tour. Good off the driver, awesome off irons, wedges and putter. Also $10+ less than ProV.
TF Gamer/V2 is awesome for what it is and even better when you take into account what it costs.

Whatever i find in the woods that is still within 5 shades of pure white.

callaway tour iz. best ball out there. in my opinion of course.

I play ProV1x but will play used Prov1 if i find them in good condition. Also will play b330 or z star if i find them in the woods. Will not play a Callaway ball if they were giving them away for free. Only went through about four dozen new balls last year and two of the dozens were free through work.

Srixon Z Star X Tour yellow. Great around the greens and on approach shots. Easy to find in rough and other places I shouldn't have hit my ball haha. Great soft feel off the driver and putter. And incredibly durable.

Nike One Tour D. It is a good compromise ball for me on a number of fronts. I got them very cheap, they have a lower flight, and they do not spin too much.

But I do love the way the Z Star and the Callaway i(s) feel.

+1 on the FG Tour. For the price it can't be beat.

Callaway tour ix. The longest ball off the driver for me... gives me just the right amount of spin around the greens.

TM TP Red. Best wind ball and longest for me, still have 4 boxes and 2 sleeves left.

I wish Srixon would make the Trispeed in yellow, too.

Wilson Staff FG Tour..... Great feel off all clubs. Putts like a dream and is plenty long. Good price at $30-35 per dozen.
I really like this ball. Closest to that Maxfli Revolution multi layer or balata feel I've found.
Also play the TP Reds ( I have 5 dozen left) during summer. Don't like them as much when it's 40* out.
Cally i (s) works well for me, but is a bit too spinny.

Used to play Titleist but on the LM this ball dropped my spin numbers by about 300 RPM which had me sold. Picked up a sleeve to try and haven't looked back.

I too found the Wilson FG-Tour to be a top notch golf ball. It has plenty of distance and is an excellent control ball. I'm looking for winter sales and wonder if they have a new version coming out for 2011.
they also feel great on my new Wilson FG62 blades. Those things are as good as it gets.

I used to played Pro V1/V1x, until I saw the drop in spin with the Srixon Z Star x. And I thought the yellow color was different and pretty cool. And the cover is very durable. My wedges tear Pro v1's up but these balls last quite a bit longer.

My first choice would be ProV1X. GPPGolf had a deal on Callaway Tour i(z) so I bought 8 dozen of those. Also a few Z Star yellow balls.
