PGA Store not selling NXT Tours, what to get now?

I heard Nike Tour D most like NXT Tour? Yes,no?
Been loyal to ProV1X for years but seem to get a little more distance from NXT Tours and the less spin no bother since it's thicker wet grass in winter. Now PGA Store can't sell Titleist, what balls should I get that play most like my NXT Tours? Heard Nike Tour D is closest, true?

I did not like the one tour d, I thought it spun too much, and shredded too easily. That's my experience anyway. You can get the nxt tours on the net, right?

Cant narrow it down for you, but can give you a few options for the different vendors:

Callaway: HX Bite (will be shorter off the tee but give similar spin)
Srixon: TriSpeed Tour (very good golf ball)
TaylorMade: TP Red (some might say Burner TP, but the red is a great deal and performs better imo)
Bridgestone: B-330 RX (one of the best balls on the market. Can try the RX-S for more spin)
Nike: Vapor Speed (not tried this ball so cannot give any feedback)
Top Flite: Gamer V2 (my winter golf ball. Great distance and feel-you would never guess it was a Top Flite)
Wilson: FG Tour (one of the most underrated balls on the market. Incredible feel)

I would suggest to try the Wilson FG Tour or the Bridgestone B-330-RX ball. Range from $20-$40 depending on which ball you go for.

Hope this helps a bit mate.

I've played the One Tour D as my main ball of choice for the past two seasons and dabbled with the NXT Tour a bit as it was our range ball where I work. Can't say that they are the same ball, or close. To me, I just prefer the Nike's feel as the NXT seems clicky to me and the cover is noticable. Wouldn't say the ball spins to much either, I don't get the stupid action I did with the One Tour. FG Tour is a nice ball and should be tried out. From Bridgestone at a good price, I like the E6+ as my spring/fall ball.

I thought I heard a guy at one of the PGATSS here in Atlanta mention that after the first of the year they're going to start selling Titleist/FJ again...maybe ask them yours to verify and hold on a few more days/weeks.

Which store did you hear this in?

I talked with the manager a while back at the Duluth store, and they didn't have any idea when they've fix their relationship with Acushnet. It's a real pain to have to go to Golfsmith to get anything FJ or Titleist, but I think both sides realize how much business is lost.

BTW, for those that buy balls for PGASS, and find you don't like them, take them back. They'll allow you to buy a dozen balls, and if you hate them, you can bring at a minimum 3 sleeves back, and they'll refund the full price and allow you to get another dozen balls that you think might work better.

Thought that was pretty generous, but not widely known.

I had heard that about them getting Titleist/Footjoy back as well the beginning of the year. Apparently this is when their minimum suspension will be up. Who knows, time will tell.
