I might have a problem

Here are the balls I have ready for 2011, doz of each:

Tour iz

B330

Z star x yellow

E6 yellow

Penta

Pro V 1x

NXT TOUR

So my problem is every time I pass the ball section with my $40 gift card I want more but don't know what to get. What I like in a ball is LOW driver spin, not a rock or a rubber ball off the irons and wedges and good feel with the putter.

Too many choices.

How about a dozen FG Tours? I have a dozen aside for next year.

I've had great luck with the E5 golf ball. Some of my longest drives of the fall were with an E5 and I didn't have a problem getting it to stop on the greens either. FG Tours are also a criminally underrated golf ball.

The one I think is notably missing is the Nike One Tour D. I'm also surprised, given what you are looking for, that you'd have the Z Star X instead of the Z Star. (Lower spin)

Wow, those choices are all over the map! To the post about z star spinning less than x, I don't think that is correct. I won a dozen hx bite and shot 72 first round out. Feels soft, not too much spin, good distance and durability. Another vote for tour d and still can't believe people pay almost $50 for a dozen penta balls.

Isn't the NXT a lower spin ball than the Tour? Obviously the feel around the green suffers, but I thought it was a better ball off the driver?

Another vote for the One Tour D for the same reasons.

I know I'm everywhere but what fun is it playing the same thing all the time. I got the z star x for lower spin is that right?
I'm going for the wilsons I think. To much hype not to try!!

Here's a thought, rather than search for the perfect ball, why not try to improve or adjust the swing. Eg. Is it the Indian or the arrow.

Another vote for the One Tour D, love that ball. Been my go to ball for the past two seasons. Nice that I can get them for $30 a dzn now.

The Z Star X is tuned for swing speeds over 105 mph. That rules out most players. For this in the 90s, the Z Star is usually a better ball.

I got mine from my brother off eBay. He bought 3 doz pentas and I got 3 doz tour iz's and we traded. I do agree that they are not a $50 ball.

I've got 6 dozen Penta's in my closet and it is 10 degrees outside right now. Don't worry ball addiction is mellow compared to club hoing.

no shame here, im a ball addict too...you know its bad when u have more different golf balls then shoes...and thats including golf shoes! lol

Current new stock is a sleeve of Pentas (awesome ball), 2 sleeves Tour Ds (good when it is over 70, not so clever in cooler climes), sleeve of Z Stars (will trade in / swap) and the odd 330RX/S. Have some cold weather ammo, Noodles and B51s but they are rested in the spring and summer!

Will look at the new Nike and V1s but will take a lot to get me off Pentas.

The E6 has no busness in this type of ball list. It's out of place as it has totally different characteristics than the others,.

I bought them for fall golf.
