These are the best clubs i have ever hit or owned. they play just like my old mp 67's but are way more forgiving and about a club longer for me. I got them with the DG XP S300 witch gives them an unbelievable feel and the trajectory is just right that my mid to long irons only get about 5 yards of roll after landing on the green.

Anyone combo these with mp53's?
[/quote]

Thats what I did. 5/6 MP53, 7/8/9/PW MP63.

I just got to hit my new combo set yesterday on the course. 47 on the front, but settled down and shot 39 on the back (par 72). 1 blowup triple on a par 3 killed my back 9.

I'm no pro by any means, but going from Nike Sumo irons to these, custom made from Mizuno, was like night and day. I can't really say much about the MP53's because I only needed to use my 6 once, but hit very well. The MP63's were very nice. I'm more of a "sweeper" or "picker" and I was actually taking a nice divot and getting some good backspin, which I haven't been able to do well enough in the past. I'm not sure if it's just the custom fitting (+.05" / 2* upright / DG S300 hardstepped) or if it is the club itself, but I felt a confidence in my shots yesterday that was fairly new to me. Trajectory was good - nice height, but nothing balloonish. Backspin I was getting off the 8/9/PW was very good. Seems like the front edge of the sole makes it easier to dig in more - for me anyway.

The looks are amazing. After looking at countless sets in person and online, these clubs have to be some of the best looking. Sole and top line is blade looking in both the MP53 and MP63. There is a miniscule difference in cm, but I cannot tell at address. Both MP's cavities are hidden at address as well, which is something I was looking for. I like the look of a players iron at address over the thick, clunky look of a game improvement iron.

As for forgiveness, I havent played enough with the 53's to give them a rating, but the 63's were somewhat forgiving I thought. I had a few shots I hit closer to the toe that were more of a fade than a complete slice. I'm just starting to pick the game up again, and use to have a 13-15 handicap before shutting it down in digust over what the Nike Sumo irons did to my game. I wouldn't recommend the 63's to anyone that dosn't have a handicap under 15, unless your persistently trying to improve your game and are not just a once a month player that never practices in between. The 53's I think would suit that type of player possibly, but again, I haven't gotten to hit them much.

Again, I'm just an amateur trying to improve on my game, but those are my thoughts on these clubs so far.
