Clearly a 4. If you direct your attention to the part of the club that is in the top left of the picture, the number four is actually quite easy to see. A good idea to make sure that you have the basics down before you hit the course, especially with a set of clubs as new as the one you have photographed.

Be sure to let us all know how you hit them!

Just picked up a brand new set with Project X 6.0 Flighted. These are an absolute dream to hit. I was playing '09 Taylor Made TP's with the same shaft and the X-Proto's are 1/2 to 1 club longer in distance with a lower trajectory. It is definitely designed for the lower handicapper as you need a consistent ball strike. They are much easier to work than my TP's. Fades and draws are so easy to pull off now.

I wouldn't consider these blades as they are much more forgiving then the traditional muscle back blades. They aren't CB's either as you do have to be a decent ball striker and off center hits are felt in the hands. They are definitely a cross between the two. Trajectory is lower in the short irons yet distance is not sacraficed one bit.

I will probably never ever need another set of irons again as I pretty much found my dream set!

Heat index was over 100* and only had an hour. Demo'd a six iron into a net (@25feet away) at Golfsmith's. Rifle 5.5

WOW!!! These feel great! I would love to take them out to the course. I am almost tempted to go back to blades. This 6 iron felt as pure as anything I have ever tried.

I am looking forward to reading reviews and comparisons.

These are the only irons I've had that the honeymoon phase does not end with.
Every time you look in the bag you think YUP.
Every time you address the ball you think YUP.
Every time you hit them you think YUP.
Cally should make them an icon iron and just keep making them with full options on shafts & grips because frankly for a serious/decent player these are as good as you can get.
I've got S300 tipped half an inch and I'd be interested in how a fresh set would play with the new PXi shafts.
Hey they are even easy to maintain the looks with, I don't know how they did it but mine still look perfect. I had MP68's that looked ancient after 6 months. All round best iron around I believe.

The feedback you are getting from off center strikes are more than likely a result of the project x shafts and has nothing to do with the heads. The only time I have actually had my hands stung by an off center hit was with a demo set at the range and with Project X shafts. If you are not an elite ball striker stay away from Project X. PXI's are a different story though. Those are really forgiving shafts. That is what I would play in these. In fact, many of the post proto callaway blades now come stock with the Pxi's.

So i am playing the X -Forged 13s with Project X 6.0 in them but have a chance for a set of these with S300 in them for a good price.

Loving the X forged but wouldnt mind a set of MB's. Am i best in getting these or hold out until a set of the Razr X MB's come up?

Or are the X Forged 13's are about the same feel and play and wont notice much difference and not worth getting a 1 of those sets of MB's?
