Odyssey White Ice

What do you think?

I happen to like one of the White Ice line not pictured - the 2-ball V-line. Great weight. I feel it combines the visual cues of the "original" 2-ball putter design with the "parallel tracks" of the F7-style of putter.

Got a White Ice Sabretooth 2. Pretty sweet.

I've got the White Ice Sabertooth (not the 2) and I'm now working on selling it. There's just no touch with this thing. Everything comes off the face WAY hot. And that annoying "tink" sound....what's up with that? If you putting down hill or on really fast greens....you can forget it.

its all an acquired taste...i have a white hot right now...might jump to one of these

Interesting. That is exactly the reason I bought it. It allows me to use a shorter stroke and make better contact. I can't agree that there is no touch, as I believe that to be directly tied to the quality of stroke you apply to it.

Switched to the White Ice #9 about a month ago. Got the grip I like (Tiger Shark) and rolled it on the carpet in my home for the whole month. I finally got it out on the course this past week and man! Finally, a putter I have confidence in again. The weight and feel are great! Took me awhile to adjust from the carpet to the slow spring greens but it's on now! Birdied the last two out of four holes I played. That hasn't happened in awhile

I was at the local Dick's Sporting goods with my boys killing time while my wife was shopping. I picked up a 33" White Ice #1 355 gram head and couldn't miss a putt in the store. I said for the price it's worth a shot and bought it. I have 3 rounds under my belt and 30, 32 and 28 putts respectively in those rounds. She is in the bag!

didnt rock my boat as i thought it would. really found it to be a boring, unispiring putter, with flaccid tactile responsiveness. I prefer the XG insert, but can see that that one may be too soft for all.

I've had the # 1 for over a year now. Changed numerous styles during the year. Still inconsistent. It's a hate/love kind of putter. Thinking about letting this go and trying a scotty for the future!

I use the #7. First, I'm a tinkerer when it comes to putters (like many of us are). However, I've tried about 10 different putters over the last season and through the beginning of this year and I keep coming back to this putter. So easy to aim and it puts a nice roll on the ball. Honestly, I'm not sure why I keep deviating from this putter...I need help.

I have the white ice #3 and love it, the feel is amazing and the ball actually goes where I aim... Now only if i could read greens better

anyone still use or had used the white ice core #2 and can tell me how they feel about it?

I switched from a TM Rossa putter that just looked plain stupid at address to a white Ice #9 and would never look back. Last year with the TM I averaged 1.72 putts per green, this year my average is 1.59 putts per green. Biggest downfall is the feel is lost on fast greens IMO. 9.5-10.5 stimp this thing can tellegraph putts all day long. Get up into the 11+ range and the feel goes away, all of a sudden putts I would normally leave within a foot or so are sliding 4 feet past the cup. It would take a miracle to get me to switch sticks, one of my fav clubs in my bag

Hey I switched from a TM rossa to a #9 too.

Anyway I think it's awesome, putting way better than when I had my other putter. Took a while to get use to the insert (felt a litle too soft) but I love it now.

Can someone give me feedback for the White Ice #2 blade putter. Im thinking of buying it.

[/Absolutely one of the best putters around. I have an older version #2 and I just ordered a new white ice#2 to go with it. Have had the original for many years and figured I couldn't go wrong. This from some one who has tried all the new putters over the years and still I go back to my original#2. Same one Steve Stricker has rolled for years. You will love the feel and consistency.

I just tested the #9 and I'm amazed at the control And results I had in both 5 footers and 15. However, I've been hesitant to buy since I've never used a heel shafted putter and I try to make a more straight back and through stroke. I tried several others in 2 different stores but I had the best results with a heel shafted putter, an Odyssey HI#9 and a TM M81. Do I just take the plunge??
