Just hit the new 735.CM's

I just got my 735.CM chrome; they are awesome. I have s400 in the 4 and 5 irons and x100 in the 6-PW. These irons are great. The long irons are easy to shape, and the short irons have tons of control as well. Only thing is that these irons do go kinda high, so have some lead tape on hand if you are a high ball hitter.

How much did you pay for them?

doesn't lead tape on the clubhead make the ball trajectory higher?

maybe you are talking about putting it somewhere else.....

I think the "735 CM Chrome" refers to the carbon steel version. Right?

the 735s will be my first good set of irons. I've been playing some cloned slingshots that I've definatley out grown. The feeling of hitting a forged iron that's nota demo will be :vava:

No not if you put it towards the top of the club face.

Does anyone know what Titliest is going to be willing to bend these to?

I wanted to extend the shaft and lie angles and they were unwilling to go more than an inch over and 4 degrees upright.

They forced me buy mp 37's and I it will be tough to get me to buy anything but a mizuno blade.

I played them today- they are awesome. They are not necessarily as forgiving as my x tours- but are softer and are easier to control the distances and trajectory. I ordered the chrome- carbon set...... cant wait to get them.

Order now if you want them before the line gets tooo long.

Can someone describe the sole to me. Is it similar to the 704 or more like the 690 series. I despised the sole of the 704 - seemed way too clunky for me, but I would REALLY consider these if they were more like the 690s. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd expect them to be like the 690's by the looks of the pics. In fact, I believe a 690cb/mb set would be almost identical to the 735.cms. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm glad to hear it...I thought these might be very 704ish...and dissapointing...good to here that's not the case

I envy you guys. The local Titleist rep says its difficult to get the latest stuff here because there just isn't enough to go around. You believe that? How do they expect to do any business here?

That being said, I think the 735s are pretty much what I'm looking for, a little more forgiveness without a loss of playability compared to my Mizuno blades.

Hope they sort out the distribution issues here soon.

I heard titleist will bend the stainless 4 degrees and the carbon 2 degrees. matt

The carbon steel chrome ones will be softer. The stainless steel version will probably be a bit more "clicky"...

I can't see the 735's from the CLubs/irons tabs either. However, it you go to clubs/overview and then look for the iron section they are included in that section.
