It just amazes me how little some of these guys actually know about the clubs/setup they are using. I couldn't imagine being that in the dark about what shaft I'm playing in my driver.

The players hit so many head/shaft combos and once the Tour Tech guys get them the ball flight they are looking for, no real reason to worry about the specs. The guys on the tour vans keep all that info. One less thing to think/worry about and a free mind can focus on what they need to be thinking about, shooting low scores.

Couldn't agree more. I think the majority of pros trust the manufactuers and clubfitting guys to take care of that stuff. I think most pros focus on playing golf not which driver shaft is spins more/less. Without access to the tour vans and sponsor deals I bet most would be content with using the same sticks until there were no grooves on the face. Besides I bet they could hit a low cut with a regular flex if they had too. Thanks for your efforts so far this year. The photos are great.

Good thing he has a good golf swing. I don't think his public speaking skills could get him a job. Painful to listen to. Ummm... Ummm... Ummm...

He's a rookie. Give him some time and I'm sure he'll get more comfortable doing these with more practice.

Glad to see TMAG guys still rockin' the R9 "B" iros. These are great irons.

I really like that he isn't insanely familiar with his gear and too caught up with the tech side of the game. It is very refreshing to see a tour player just worried about golfing his ball and playing what he is comfortable with. It really puts things in perspective for me personally, especially considering how easy it is to get completely immersed in equipment being a member of this site.

Things like this just reiterate the thought that most of us should worry less about equipment and more about the game. (Not that I will lol) I am also reminded of this every time I play with a former high school teammate. He uses an old macgregor driver with a no-name everything else and always shoots near or below par. He doesn't even have his bag organized and could care less if they are clean.
