Have this in my r11 driver and it's a a super fairway finder. I've lost a few yards in length but gained a ton of accuracy. High launch low spin. Agree with future dvm would play as the ultimate fairway wood shaft.

The fairway wood shaft of the year, or decade even. Best shaft out there for a fairway.

Have a DJ-8 in a RAZR Hawk 3+ and it's killer. Great GDI feel with enough launch and spin to play in strong 3 woods.

I'm a beginner and knew nothing about shafts. Went in to a local fitting shop in Hawaii and was recommended this club based on my numbers on the launch monitor. The next round played was like no other. I immediately saw an increase in accuracy and distance. I was getting a lot more ball roll than my stock shaft. I was so impressed, I put a DJ in my 3 wood and saw the same results, added distance and better accuracy.

is the DJ more of a driver or fairway wood shaft

Commonly more of a fairway shaft. Of course for the odd player it would be perfect as a driver shaft e.g. those looking for more launch and spin than the DI and BB provide.

Just picked up a dj8x for my 3wood. Can't wait for it to arrive. Hopefully i can handle it. My driver speed is 105-112mph

You'll be fine in the X flex. Great fairway shaft!

Great shaft have the 7 in m1 x flex great launching shaft hands down go to fw shaft for all play levels

I just received the dj 8x for my fairway. I play a tour ad-di 7s in my driver and it can get a little loose at times but it's long and I can hit draws/fades on command. Its the perfect match for me. The dj 8x in my 3wood is a bit on the stiffer side for me. I can't seem to draw the ball. It always has a slight leak to it but is playable. It may just be me but only more time will tell

Just got this shaft and so far no complaints in the 3 wood. Shaft definitely has more spin but does not affect distance at all on ny end.

Put this shaft in my TS3 recently. I have about 100-102 mph swing and am generally a low spinner with my driver as I tend to hit center high on the face. I was looking for something to give me a bit higher launch with a bit more spin. So far so good. I'm getting around 14-15 launch with around 22-2400 spin. Coming from around 12-13 launch with 17-1900 spin I'm getting about the same total distance but a much better carry number and bit more stable flight. Less knuckleballs dropping out of the sky is a good thing for me. Probably going in my next fairway wood as well.
