who else is from Beautiful BC, and more specifically, Vancouver? :drinks: what courses have you all played recently, and any stories to share?

a few of us have a regular group that play every sunday...last course was burnaby mtn yesterday...we were caught in that morning downpour (around 10.30am-ish) and were huddled under a tree waiting for it to let up so we could trek back to the pro-shop! we finally made our way back to the coffee-shop to dry off and tee'd off again (dry this time) around noon. :crazy:

I'm an hour away in Chilliwack. I play Sandpiper, Chilliwack G&C and Homestead G&C in Lynden WA.

On the Island . Have never played on the mainland , but then again have not played for over a year now due to a medical condition .

Am now able to play once again and am really getting the itch

Is there year round golf in Vancouver?

I live in the interior, but I try to make it out to the coast as often as possible. Work doens't allow it much, but when I'm there I like to play.

Usually play out of Gallaghers Canyon, or The Okanagan Golf Club.

for cavity backs i think they're very forgiving.

I'm at McCleery everyday playing or practicing. Come find me, I have a red X67 bag and some 695mb's. I play there and at MayfairLakes mostly. Not into Fraserview I'm over that place.

I'm in Vancouver and practice regularly at McCleery (every other day or so depending on the time of year). I usually play at McCleery or Morgan Creek and get out to Northlands from time to time.

Abbotsford here. I play out of Ledgeview, but travel around the Bellingham/Vancouver area to play.

Im from Tsawwassen,(about 40 minutes from Vancity) and play out of beach grove golf course. and then play other courses in highschool matches etc.

Anyone want to tee up with the immortal Joe Kwok for a day between June 25 and 28? I'm thinking Northview Ridge but will listen to suggestions. Joe will be in Whiterock for the duration of his stay so I'd like it to be as convenient for him as possible.

play at Richmond Country Club

Hey all. I live close to Redwoods and play there a bit, but I work in Maple Ridge so I play Swany & Meadow Gardens. Usually fit in 3-4 trips per year as well. Heading to Crown Isle for the weekend right after work. Has anyone here headed down to play Chambers Bay in Tacoma? Were there in mid April.

I'm up in Whistler. Play all 3 courses up here regularly. Get down to the city about once a month and play one of the courses. Playing Capilano on the 23rd of June.

604 represent! bby mountain is my "home course"

I have only played Bby Mountain a couple of times. I am in Coquitlam, my home course is Carnoustie.

I'm right here in Vancity....typically play Fraserview or Riverway (in Bby), since they're right by my house.

I'm out the Fraser Valley in Chilliwack. About an hour and a bit east of Vancouver. I play the Falls, Sandpiper, Royalwood, and all the 'little' courses with the golf team that I coach. Shuksan and Homestead Farms are once a month trips during the spring and summer just over the boarder in North Bellingham/Lynden.

Holla! Fraserview's right across the street and Riverway's 5 minutes down Marine. Play a lot of rounds at Cove Links in Ladner since it's shorter for the wife.

I'm in Coquitlam,

I like playing Riverway, Meadow Gardens and Swan-e-Set. Actually I like playing just about everywhere.

Burnaby, BC. I play out of Riverway with a 8 handicap. I also play Fraserview, McCleery, and Northview. I try to make it out to all the wonderful courses in the lower mainland at least once a year.

I play all over the lower mainland.. Spend most of my evenings practicing at Savage Creek

East Van and have played most of the courses in the lower mainland. Northview and Point Robert's are my favorites.

So, Vancouver gonna get out together this year?
