Is it worth the huge price tag?

I had about 5 swing into a net off the deck w/one yesterday. It is now on my list of items to try at an outdoor demo (late April).

$225 isn't crazy. Most FWs are in that range +/- $50.

I was skeptical of the R11 driver, but it's made a believer out of me. My current 3W is a Titleist 909F2, and I love the thing to death, but I'm always in search of more conrol and I want to try an R11 3W and I hope it's as generous as the driver!

I have the 909F2 that I loved. Last week I went to a demo day and tried all the 3 woods on offer there. The top of my list were Ping G15 and i15, R11, Superfast 2.0 and bringing up the rear was the 910F. I pulled the trigger on an R11 TP with fujikura x flex shaft (same as my R9 TP 5 wood) and absolutely love it. Off the deck or off the tee, penetrating flight, stays away from the left side, really easy to set up and the same great sound and feel as the R11 driver. Great stick. I think the pings are still easier for me to hit, but I'm very happy to have this one in the bag!

If you like the R11 fairway, give the TI version a try. Larger club head, deeper face, lighter weight, and slightly more draw bias. Great freakin' club...

Ive had a hit of one of them, feels nice and soft off the club, and the price is very generous, goes reasonalby straight aswell. (if i put a good swing on it)

I love my 3w. I recently picked one up and I'm smashing it. Able to high low stingers and high floaters with ease.

is this better than the r9?

I love these fairway woods...Just recently picked up a 3w and 5w...Love them!

I just got the 3 wood so i'm excited to try it out this weekend.

Anyone try this club with aldila beta shaft? How were your results?

i have the 15.5 with a fuji motore f3 80x. i like it a ton, being able to tweak the loft and face angle helped me gain a lot of confidence in a 3 wood for the first time in a while. i set mine to 15 with open face setting. the white crown contrasting the black face looks great and it frames the ball nicely.

as with most clubs, the shaft will be the key, mine works for a mid-flat flight and i can work club both ways and face is not too deep or too shallow for my liking.

never compared it to an r9 but i think having the sole plate option makes a world of difference.
