Zack Miller WITB

not sure what hes playing

but Im starting to really like this guy

its funny because zack played for stanford and is from the bay area,ca

but hes not blown up like fellow alum, joseph bramlett, also a rookie this year

hm might have to go with ping since my name is also zack lol

Looking thru witb pics and looks to have a ping i15 driver with an orange graphite design shafts and s56's and tour s wedges with a pick me up long putter anybody have other info...

Seems to be working with paul gorman.

Bramlett is getting more exposure because his father is African American. His mother is white. Both white, no story.

Zack (half Japanese, BTW) is off to a much stronger start, but apparently this is not newsworthy.

If I sound a little annoyed, it's because of the way we as a society continue to emphasize color, one in particular.

He (Zack) also works with Ray Leach at Peacock Gap in San Rafael.

If I can snap a bag pic next time he is there, I will!

I know Joe a little bit (not much, but we met a couple times), from when we were both in High School. He was and still is a stand up guy. Nothing less. To even bring up the fact that he was a "private school kid" is unnecessary and brings nothing to the table.

I played high school golf with him...

its more likely a inner circle thing, he was with his buddies.. picking on the public school kid (so you can see where my view came from)

comments like "the kids from the ghetto school" .."where do these guys play..(insert muni here)" etc

im just going to assume you went to a nicer school than I did. Just saying I apologize for making the the private school comment, just venting inner emotion lol, it was uncalled for.

I went to Menlo-Atherton and honed my game at Palo Alto Muni in my youth. Not exactly the premier school or course, but it worked out pretty well for me.

I played a bunch at Palo Alto Muni in the early 90s. Brad Lozares is still there.

Any chance you knew Javier Sanchez? What a great story he was. Comes from Mexico, works at Harry's Hofbrau and the next thing you know, he's making cuts at the US Open. Incredible! He worked with Hank Pollex.

There was another guy that played there briefly...Alex Stamey...went on to have a very good amateur career.

Hank is now in sunnyvale at sunken gardens.
