I wonder how similiar his product is to the Putting Arc; which I just got in the mail today. I tried the Pelz straight-straight method and I found you have to do too much wrist and shoulder manipulation. I read Stan's book and it made alot of sense.

I love this device. I am putting better than ever. I read Stan's book and then bought the device. It is terrific. Another change I made was to incorpoate the Balance Certified system into my Scoty Cameron. The counterweight at teh grip end has made a huge difference as well. Between the two, I highly recommend them!

I have the learning curve. I am glad that I got it, among other things, it comes with a helpful DVD as well as a carrying case. I read the Art of Putting before going to buy the training aid, but because I am a guy that learns more by feel, I decided to go buy the the Learning Curve. The learning curve is great for a number of reasons. One thing that separates it from the Putting Arc is that you can take a piece of the Learning Curve off and use it to aim and check ball position, which is hugely important with the arc putting stroke. You can also use it on both sides of the putter face and check the putter face's squareness to the arc with cool little indicators that are 90 degrees to the arc. I have become at Utley fan partially because he explains things fully, but simply. The DVD that comes with the LC, is very well done and straight to the point. What little actual putting I have done with the arc stroke has me very excited to keep at it.
The one selling point for me on the whole concept was that I wanted to have one mindset about every shot from the driver to the putter. The feeling of approaching a little from the inside and then square then inside, just like a little version of a full shot.

In Stans book he says to use a metal ruler and tees. that seems to work for me just fine, plus you can fix the arc exactly how you like it. :ok:

I have three Putting Arcs and really like them. I also bought the Learning Curve after I took a lesson with Stan (it was worth it, and what a great guy by the way) and like it better than the Putting Arc with on exception - the Learning Curve moves around too much on carpet or semi slick surfaces. I wish there was a way to make it more stable indoors. Other than that it was a worthwhile investment. I don't even use the Putting Arcs anymore.

is this training aid only to be used with blade type putters or can this training aid be used with mallet putters too? like the white corza ghost or two ball putter?
