Orange E6's - Hard to find?

I am a fan of Bridgestone's e6 and was excited to try out the orange version. Sad to report that they are hard to find in the rough. White and yellow stand out - orange (which seems dark) seems to blend in.

Sun must not of been shinning in the ruff. These things are pearlesent orange and will blind you if the sun is on them.

I agree that they're not easy to spot. My husband's yellow e6s are much easier to find. I won't be buying the orange e6s again.

As I said in an earlier post, I could never see an orange ball --- sometimes even sitting in the fairway. I'd just lose them once they hit the ground. My dad used to play the orange ones and I literally stepped on it one day and didn't see the thing. But they said that I was red/green colorblind too when I took a test for a pilot's license in high school. So maybe that had something to do with it.

Yeah I have to agree. My wife just stopped playing the pink Solaire because they too are hard to find in the rough, went back to the HX Pearl. The Yellow E6 stand out nicely for me BTW, which is important coming from someone that has spent most of their adult life in the rough.

I know this is an old thread but I had to share me experience. I generally play the yellow srixon z star X and I love how much those stand out, but today my buddy bought me a dozen orange e6, those balls go FOREVER honestly 10 yards past my yellow srixons all day long, way less spin on the greens tho, so not really worth it IMO. Anyways these orange balls are nearly impossible to find, I don't know what it is about them but I can remember 3 specific shots where I know where the ball was going, keep my eyes open, and can't see a thing. 2 times were into a green, one was off the tee on a short par 4, on that I hit it fine, right where I thought it would land, just could not find this thing. Finally walked twords the hole and found it sitting in the fairway maybe 15 yards away from where I was looking, not very far at all and I didn't see it the 10 times I scanned the area looking for it. The other two were into the green, one par 3 and one par 5. Both times I see the flight into the green, see the ball coming down and then it just disappears, can't see anything from where I'm at. Both times I think I flew the green to finally see it on the green when I drive up. Very strange when they are practically fluorescent, I don't know what it is about the orange but I'll never buy them, I appreciate the gift from a buddy and I'll play them but I better keep them straight or I'll never find them anywhere. They do feel really nice, and like I said they're LONG but they don't spin much with conforming grooves, especially out of the rough I had a few fliers today which I generally never have with the srixons

I find orange stands out better when the grass is dormant.

Orange in the fall = very bad..... I love the srixon tour yellow though. very easy to find and see in the rough, woods, and even water hazards LOL

Like many men, I'm red/green color deficient (color blind), so the orange ball is hard for me to see on green grass. Yellow is awesome.

Agree that e-6 is crazy long, and straight. And agree that lack of spin of irons and wedges make it hard to know if this should be my ball. I do like the way they feel off the putter.

My handicap was easily 3 strokes worse with the 'E6 because I was losing that many strokes on my wedge game. Loved it off the tee, but not around the green.

The ball doesn't react as well as a urethane ball, and unless all you're playing is bump and run, you're doing yourself a disservice by playing this ball if you rely on a creative short game to score.
