I played a 3 sleeve of these a year ago Thanksgiving before they went to retail and hit them longer than Pro V's I'd played in freezing cold. Not too soft for a tour ball, but good driver distance. Worth the extra $5 over the Diablos.

My pro recommended these to me so I tried them out. I have been playing the proV-X since mid summer, the proV before that. I was looking for a ball that might provide me with a little less spin off the driver, a straighter flight overall. The Callaway Diablo tour delivered excellent distance, even in the recent cold weather and a noticeably straighter ball flight compared to the Titleist proV's. However chipping is much different, there is definitely not as much spin on the chip shots and even off of full wedges, it will be an adjustment to that part of my game. Of course with any ball that plays straighter, it doesn't bend as well when you are trying to fade the ball.

I like it better than the NXT Tour.

This is a pretty solid ball. I agree with a few former post stating that your drives will be straighter with this ball. Its consistent and works well for the mid handicappers. Nothing special around the greens, but overall this ball's performs very well.

Supposed to be equivalent to the Gamer V2. Not as good around the greens.

Good distance, flies straight, not much spin around the greens.

Great ball off the tee, def compresses when you tag it. Not much as far as backing up power but you can stop it with a solid strike.

Found one in the woods and played a few holes with it. It definitely was deep and straight off the tee!
