Cally Tour Blue

I love my Callaway TT3 it is incredible. They got bad reps due to the price. They are more money than Scotty's thats where they went wrong.

I have one as well, and I like it well enough. Callaway was a bit ahead of the price curve at the time...except for the 2 ball, if you want to get more than $150 at retail for a putter it had better say Scotty Cameron on it.

I had a TT1 for a good part of a year and it was a great putter, I loved the feel and I even liked the bluish color. I think what hurt was the fact that it had little backing if any by the Tour players.

unexpected price from company that usually do NOT make putters...

i just think that Callaway failed the marketing strategy, failure to gain consumer demand

Weren't they asking like high $200's into the low $300's for those when they came out new??? I liked the looks of them when they did come out, but I thought the feel was horrible.

$299 new...I bought my TT3 new. I was not a bad putter at all. But I just was not in love with it.

Yup too expensive. The finish is also not desireable. It seems to be a paint type finish that chips. If anyone has stripped/buffed off the blue finish can you send me pics. That is the only thing preventing me from picking one up.

As a side note the grip is really heavy (70grammish), it results in a really light swingweight.

Sweet finish. I always thought of it as a blue black pearl, without the glare.

I should've clarified. The color of the finish is fine. Glare is also not an issue. It is the durability over a long period. Only one feedback from a buddy but he claims it chips "like an eggshell" even though there are no dings.

1) $300 price point

2) Intense marketing of 2-Balls instead

3) Finish that scratched from sandy greens

4) No tour play

5) Titanium feel is an oxymoron

I demo'ed this putter (TT1 and TT3) along with a bunch of others over the summer when I was looking for a replacement for my 2 Ball White Steel. The feel was nice, the look was nice, it putted nice, etc. Basically it was a "nice" putter, but in my opinion a putter with a $300+ price tag needs to be exceptional.

Also, for a discontinued putter, I would have expected a discount on the price.
