LACOSTE OR RALPH LAUREN!

ok guys i've always wondered what most people preffer, now i like lacoste more than ralph i think they look better on me, but i want to hear your opinions!

I have been wearing Ralph Lauren Polo since i was 17 years old, i still have shirts that i bought back then ( so yes that makes them very old) . 95% of my wardrobe is Polo.

I have great success with Polo clothes.

Lacoste for me. The Lacoste polo's just fits better.

I prefer Polo. Lacoste tends to be a little snug on my ample frame.

Ralph, he makes "Big Boy" clothes!

If you like those brands, but want to stand out a bit and wear something few people are wearing, I'd look into Modern Amusement.

Excellent quality, and cutting edge fashion for the same price. I'm a huge fan of their clothes.

You can find their stuff really cheap at the end of the season from Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom's, although since you're in the UK, that may not help too much.

I love both, however I have noticed that lacoste is significantly shorter in the sleeves and torso. Polo has multiple fits, however if you like the look you can go classic a size smaller and you can have the longer torso and sleeves with a slim fit. Adding to the fray my favorite polo-shirt brand is Burburry, so there!

I really like the fit of Polo custom fits. Lacoste is too boxy for me. Polo also has nicer colors.

Underarmor and Nike Polos, FootJoy Mock-T's

i like em both.... Problem so far i have seen is that neither is really good shirt engineering for steamy weather. If you live in someplace that isn't humid, i don't see an issue, but here in dc area, we got a problem with hot weather/ sweat/ sticky shirts... So i sadly play the adidas clima cool or nike dryfit, etc... But them polos and lacoste both look great, locally golfdomgolf.com carries them. good luck! peter

Have circa 25-30 Ralph Lauren polos - in all colors and stripes.

Have circa 20 Lacoste polos - self-coloured only.

Lacoste for me. I think they fit better, and when I'm not golfing, they don't have the exaggerated tail that Polo's do (I hate that thing). Only downside is they are more expensive.

For me personally, Lacoste. They just fit better for me. Maybe its because i can find these alot easier as well. I like alot of colours the shirts come in, so that is good to.

Lacoste. Not a fan of Ralph Lauren Polo. I have one Polo Golf shirt that I got at the US Open in Pinehurst and it fits horribly. I should have tried it on but I was in a hurry (I had a tee time to get to across town). I'm a bigger guy (6'6" 275lbs) but anything by Ralph Lauren is HUGE on me, especially in the sleeves and stomach area. Lacoste and even burberry fit me much better.

I wear the gator. If you've ever been to a Lacoste store, you get the feeling like Jim Furyk would not go on a shopping spree there, which is how I feel about the Polo stores I’ve been to.

I generally prefer Polo. I really like a lot of the stuff they make. Just wish it wasn't so darn expensive here in Denmark, $115 is a lot for a polo

I have nothing against lacoste or polo, they both have awesome clothes. What do you think about j.lindeberg? Modern colors, stylist etc. JL is my personal number one! I suggest you to take a look!
