What an odd place for the lead tape on the MC. Looks like he didn't even try to make it looks nice, lol.

It looks like someone threw it at the club from 20 feet, and thats where it landed and stuck.

That bag is great. Too funny that Lehman Miura 300's are often in a best ever category and he has none of them in the bag.

They are if the packaging doesn't have the bar code on them...rolleyes.gif . I believe the "tour" issues do not contain the caloric content as well...biggrin.gif

I heard Tour Issue Snickers are made with Dutch chocolate, Argentinian caramel, French nougat, and Brazil nuts. I'd pay thousands of dollars for something like that! image/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

An nextremely nice man. We say hello to him at the President's Cup. Walks over, starts chating with us like he is one of the guys. We ask about clubs etc. He says it ,flat out, " Make your clubs work for you." Here's the example I guess.

I think I saw on this site some irons John Daly had made that looked like Toms RAC MB, with the muscle back and the cut outs... anyone know what I'm talking about?...

Reminds me of the bag I had back when I was much younger. Garage sale special including Byron Nelsons, Patty Bergs(!), Wilsons, and Northwesterns. It didn't work quite as well for me as it does for Tom. Glad to see a pro who uses what works for him regardless of how it looks. That is the epitome of cool IMO.

Anyone else find it interesting he goes with blades in the long irons and cavities in the mid to short irons??? image/WTF.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':WTF:' />

Ye - absolutely nuts, but it doesn't matter as he is a super ball striker, especially with the long irons.
  • jgpljgpl Members Posts: 719 ✭✭
Anyone know if his woods are the same???

Last time I saw him he had a Superquad TP, but it could be anything now

Great pics...... I remember the thread a while back talking about it, but it's cool to see. Looks like he's about to set up camp for a while on the putting green with the two snickers, water, and putting aid. Someone needs to tell him to send that circle T for a restore and a COA though..... killing the value by apparently not using a headcover image/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

A game like his seems to devalue the golf equipment. Looks can matter but he makes a lot more money when they are being used effectively, this man is a golfer not an equipment junkie.
