Some Circle L's in latest Vegas headcovers

Don't know the exact number made but, some very lucky people out there. The one on ebay went for $1200.00

Lots of talk on the numbers of Circle Ls made. Supposedly 2006 covers made and some are still available to through the store.

It's not really a wrinkle. It has been announced that Scotty threw in "X" amount of the Circle L Headcovers witht the regular ones going out. We know of 6 of them so far recieved by members on TCC. The one on ebay was actually the first one recieved hence he had first rights to sell to set the standard for them. The value expected for a 7 day auction is closer to 1900.00 We hope to learn more later this week when we recieve the e-mail from club cameron. Right now even the Studio Store is saying it was not a mistake and that we have more info coming.

And Yes, they are still for sale in the studio store as of right now.

Still no current word on the total amount of Circle H headcovers out there in this model headcover, but we are expecting no more than around 5 percent.

More infornmation on this Headcover and the ones like it can be found here:

Let's just say it's the talk of the day. LOL

Any speculation on how this will affect the perceived value of the CL covers--especially the older ones? Before the CL covers were rarer than the CL-stamped putters, but now this seems to be flip-flopping. Especially now that the "L" has lost all the personal meaning that it once had (supposedly closer friends/personal contacts). The market just got itself flooded with these--relatively speaking, especially if the 5% theory holds.

I agree... it "cheapens" them for a lack of a better word.

No real word onthat as of yet. We are all wondering the same. It won't affect the value of the original Circle L covers though especially the Yellow tudio Design ones. Personally I don't agree with putting the Circle on on this many headcover. Oh well. LOL And George..The Circle L was originally given to somebody who played against Scotty and lost.

Circle L – This stamp is for friends of Scotty. The L stands for loser and is made in fun

The other high value one is a Circle W. Haven't seen very many of those at all. I guess only time will tell on the affect as per value. I do expect to see more than a few of these on ebay in the following say 2 weeks though.

Reissued Tiffanys headcovers, Circle Ts to the public, and now a circle L. Its going to be interesting to see what pans out.

I agree completly GX. Well, on most of it. I agree that the Tiffany headcoers and Circle L's shoudn't have been released as they were. I do like the fact that if you have enough money though you can pick up a CT putter now. :drinks::):cheesy::)

Sorry,

Meant circle T shirts and markers available via Club Cameron. Circle T putters have always been available through the right channels.

I don't have a problem with the Shirts and ball-markers. The one thing I do agrre with that he has done is cancelled the custom ordered putters. Now he and he alone decides whatstampings and all that go on the puter. At least he didn't offer the CT Bag Tags on the store :drinks:

All I know is that I would never spend the dollars to buy a Circle L headcover. If I ever get one it is because Scotty beat my arse. There would be no loss of value for the headcover for me.

It still decreases the value of the original Circle L Headcovers, and demeans the meaning that was bestowed upon them.

For collectors, I have to agree with Chris on this one. As I said, the probability of me getting one by purchase is slim and none, and slim left the arena. The only way I could get a Circle Loser headcover is playing Scotty and losing (which probably would happen). Circle Lucky meaning does devaluate the meaning which surprises me Scotty would market that.

On the flip side of my dream of playing Scotty, if I win then I get a Circle W. All I can say is ....
