Can anyone give me some feedback on the Cameron Red X2 vs. Phantom 2? Many thanks - Im in the market.

I spent quite a bit of time comparing the Red-X and Red-X2 (loved the three dots behind the shaft on the topline) but ended up deciding on the Red-X because of the slight offset of the single bend shaft which was working better for my stroke. The heel shaft model is quite close to the center as is.

Then headed to the store to make my purchase, saw the SC Futura Phantom Mallet, tested it against the Red-X (and TM Rossa Monza Corza), and bought the Phantom, primarily because I seemed to have a easier time aligning it. The Phantom and Red-X face profiles are the same; higher near the toe than the heel, and both suit my slightly open to closed face swing. There is no face insert, but the feel was great and, er, uh, a great headcover. The real test will be tomorrow.
