Just had these shafts installed in my MP-59's and they are simply outstanding! Feel is superb and I have added maybe an extra club length! Was gaming PX 5.5 before and now have PXi 6.0 and the ball flight is slightly lower but peaks higher and seems to go forever! Can't wait to start gaming these when the season starts for real!! Fantastic shaft offering, definitely recommend trying these shafts out!

I just ordered some I20's with PXI, PING only offers 6.0 & 6.5 I told them I wanted them to play to PX 5.5 stiffness and they told me to soft step them once. You would disagree with their assessment? I'm not sure if they have hit them. I have the c-tapers stiff in my anser's and they are too stiff for me. Just wondering if I should go 6.0 or 6.0 soft stepped?

I was playing 5.5 and they were a little on the weak side for me so I went with PXi 6.0 as I wanted something a little stiffer. These shafts seem to play a little stiffer than my PX 5.5's but the feel is so much better. I would soft-step the 6.0 is you are looking for 5.5. I was advised by a club fitter that the frequency on these are the same as the previous PX shafts but it is the feel you get with these that make a huge difference

Why did you go from a 5.5 to a 6.0 in the PXi? I game 5.5's now and I'm making the switch next week.

The 5.5's were too weak for me. I was always going to go to 6.0 and these have worked out perfectly. You will love the feel you get with these shafts and they do feel a tad bit lighter. I have gained about a club length putting these in play. 7 iron is now around 165 whereas it was always around 155 with the old PX 5.5's. Enjoy your purchase and you won't be disappointed...

I used to have AWT stiff shafts on a set of pings. Would the PXi 5.5 be the most comparable? I wasn't sure because the shafts may be the same weight, but there are some differences

Currently playing the Dynamic Gold SL R300, having a low ball flight from it. How is the PXI compare to SL? If I'm getting this, shall I get the 5.0 or the 5.5 ?

5.0. No question. To totally match the R300, you may even want to soft-step the 5.0's 1X (1 time).

I recently put a set of 6.0 pxi in my I 20's I'm still getting use to them so far I love this shaft though, my normal ballflight is a draw with this shaft it's a little higher draw very controllable though. one of the best feeling steel shafts at impact I feel will be shaft choice in my next set of irons also. I-25's when they come out.

I just put the 5.5 in my G25s. It was a 35 up charge.

I just hit these with the 716 ap1s, they seem great, longer and less side spin than kbs tour and tighter than XP 105 or kbs. Anyone know much about these?
