Played the B330S (2012) for the first time this weekend. The feel is much better with this ball and the spin and durability are top notch. Ball seems long and straight off the driver as well. My only gripe is the dimple in dimple design. I just don't like looking down at it.

I could get used to the dimples because this ball just straight performs. I still rank the Z-Star above it but would not hesitate to put this ball in play if the Z-Star was not available.

I know Snedeker has put the new B330 into play. Heard him say he picked up about 5 yards of distance and didn't sacrifice any feel or spin characteristics. Sounds good to me.

That new B330 s and B330 are awesome. Anybody else trying them? Both are now softer. S spins like crazy.

Just picked up a few hex sleeves, nice to hear good things about them, hopefully they work for me. Any comparison to the penta?

No, but I hit the hex black today and it will be hard to beat that one..for sure. Love the S and look forward to the new experience.

I played one round with the B330 after trying out the Nike 20XI and I couldn't believe the difference. Better feel, spin, ball flight, etc. Not sure about distance, but who cares. I hated the 20XI.

To be fair I loved the 2011 B330S, still have a few boxes too.. i tried the Penta TP5 last week and I really liked it, think I may get another sleeve for this weekend. I really cant wait for the 2012 B330S but... if it is better than the 2011 version then theyre on a winner..

Just tried the B330 S today and loved it, its going in the bag for this season I can tell. With a 110 SS these things go far and spin perfect for me. I tried the B330 and just didnt like the greenside control, though it was close between these 2. If anyone is in the market for testing new balls before the spring and summer, try these bad boys out.

NOTE: The dimple in dimple pattern is not even noticable to me at address. You have to actually pick the ball up and inspect it to see them, not a distraction at all.

The new B330's are top notch. I played them for the first time this past weekend and my drives were at least 10 yards longer than at anytime last year. I got exceptional spin out of them and wasn't even using the S version. I've been looking forward to the double dimple design. Late last year I played in a scramble and they gave us a sleeve of cheap Top Flite D2 (double dimple balls). I thought, what the hell, its a scramble and I wanted some distance so I hit em. I play a fade most of the time but using that dual dimple design every one of shots were straight. I hit a couple shots back to back with the TF D2 and the 2011 B330rx. It was straight, fade, straight, fade. They really have a winner in this dual dimple design and the performance around the greens are awesome.

Switched from Z Star to B330-S at the end of last season and regret not doing it sooner. My SS is in the RX demo but they are just too mushy and don't perform around the greens for me. Looking forward to trying the 2012 B330-S.

For me, yes. While the Z Star is alittle softer, the B330-S was better in all the usual areas: longer off the tee, more boring trajectory with the irons, better around the greens and excellent feel off the putter. If this year's model isn't an improvement I will get some more 2011's for this year.

FYI: Driver SS is 97-100 and I am a soft-stepped S300 iron shaft player. I could easily play R flex in most after market graphite shafts and may do so this year. But this ball just seems to work for me.

+1

the thing i like about the b330 is the trajectory with the irons... it flies in the air nicely to my eyes... i dont know how to explain it.. its not exactly boring flight but it flys flat if that makes sense... works well with my iron game

I played the new B330 this week and it's a big improvement over the previous B330, feel was softer and green side control was improved but still not on par with previous B330s model. Durability was excellent but I've grown to expect that from the B's. I want to compare it to 2011/12 B330s to see what's going on here. I still think I like the feel of Srixon better but durability issues seem to always pull me away...BB

are you comparing the 2012 b330s to b330 or are you saying the 2012 b330 is not as good as the 2011 b330s

Older ball is better IMO. Newer thinner cover isn't as durable and it really gets held up into the wind. Definitely a spinnier ball and short irons in the wind are a bit of an issue. If you played old B330S I think you'd prefer the new regular B330
Echo all the observations above. Very disappointed with the durability of the new B330. Used to be a strength of this ball, and now a liability.

I didn't have any durability issues either and I still have the old "illegal" grooves. I can also echo vietnameeh above...love the trajectory with all irons. I hit a high ball and these have a consistent Mid-low flight. I have always preferred the Pro V1x, but they've made the most recent version fly higher...that was the last thing that I wanted.

Bought a sleeve of the new 330RX this weekend and was really really blown away by them.

Last year I'd been gaming the 330S, SS with driver is 102ish so according to bridgestone not quite optimal.

I was playing in a 20mph wind and I just couldn't believe how well these balls held their trajectory into the wind even when hit quite high. On the 7th I hit my drive higher than I meant to into a wind that was slightly left to right and straight into. I expected a ballooning flight that started going off to the right leaving me a very long 2nd shot, I was watching the flight waiting for it to happen and it never did. The same continued through the round and I ended up taking 1 club less adjustment for wind in general (e.g. where I would have been clubbing up from an 8 to a 6 for wind I was taking a 7 and getting there just fine).

I got plenty of spin around the greens, if anything I'd say the RX was slightly spinnier than the old 330S but the greens were super wet so it was a bit hard to be sure.

Didn't see any durability problem I hit some full wedge shots the cover looked okay to me, the ball wasn't exactly good as new but I'd happily start another round with it.

You guys that have tried both the B330 and B330s any thoughts on spin off the driver, I have a fairly high swing speed and fight too much spin off the driver.
I have tried both and the spin is much lower of the driver with the B330 vs the S and with the softer cover you don't lost your feel around the greens. I played the B330S last year to get more feel around the greens but I'm also a high spin player so the new 330 is perfect. I tried the new B330 S too and it is also a great ball and even softer. But If I can lower spin and still have the feel I found the perfect ball the B330.
