Nice putter. That was a solid product line by Mizuno/Bettinardi. I have the C03 and it feels great

Agreed. I haven't gotten to take it to the practice green yet, but I've been rolling it a lot inside. So far so good!

The driver test is still underway. The Ping is very forgiving and launches high, but I think my Adams still has it beat in terms of distance. I am going to play it a few more rounds and weigh the pro's and con's.

My dad has alway been into woodwork and is an avid hunter, he makes and stains his own duck calls. I went home over the weekend and he had made me a putter rack for some of my old gamers. I'm not really a collector and if it doesn't have much of a sentimental value, it usually ends up on the bag. I do have a few though, pretty cool.

I picked up a new head cover yesterday at the Byron. We're sad to see it move on from Four Seasons, it's been something we really look forward to every year. It's always been cool to see the pro's take on a course that you've played previously. Hope the move to Trinity Forest goes smoothly an we can start a new tradition. I've always heard the TPC wasn't all that popular with the tour guys.

I gave the G a few months, but in reality the shaft/head combination I had was shorter and spun more than my old Adams. So I put the F12 LS back in the bag and starting testing again. I went for a fitting and ended up with this M2 with a Project X HAZRDUS Yellow and have had a few good rounds.

Very solid. I am thinking about sending it in to Studio B to have it cleaned up and refinished.

How much extra distance does the shaft in the 4 iron give you?

It didn't give me a ton of extra distance, maybe 7 or 8 yards. The ball flight is a little higher though and feels closer to my hybrid than an iron. I mainly got it so longer Par 3's aren't so intimidating. I really like it though.

I came to my parents house in Louisiana to play in a four ball tournament. I used to love Adams drivers and hybrids, so my old room is an Adams graveyard basically.

I have been playing a Superstroke Ultra Slim 1.0 the last few years and wanted to try a Flatso 1.0 with counter core. First round with it yesterday went really well.

I really like the shape compared to the standard Ultra Slim 1.0. My putter is pretty average in weight also, but I feel like it complements it well.

I had been playing a MP T5 52º for almost three years. it's my favorite club to warm up with, as well as the last few before I head to the first tee. The grooves had seen better days so I picked up a new T7.

After a not so impressive 6 months with the M2, I bought an Epic with a T800. This probably won't stop me from testing the Rogue early next season

My name is Tyler and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I've been a member here for ten years now, so this thread has evolved over the years. I usually keep an updated WITB on the first post for anyone that is interested.

Any questions, comments, or feedback is appreciated!

Callaway GBB Epic 9° -Project X HZRDUS T800 6.0 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet - Neutral Setting

I had been playing an Adams Speedline F12 LS for the past 5 seasons. Earlier this summer I picked up an M2, but wasn't completely happy with it. So I'm giving this one a chance.

Mizuno JPX 850 Forged (4) - Aerotech Steelfiber i95 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

Mizuno JPX 850 Forged - Project X 5.5 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

I made a switch these irons earlier last summer from a set of 714 CB's and have had amazing results. The combination of the stronger lofts and forgiveness have made the game very fun. I do find that my distance control can be a little on the long side though, but so far that's my only knock against them. I tested the 900 Forged and do like the cavity aesthetics more, but I didn't notice any increased performance that would make me break the bank. I think I am just going to save up and see if the next cycle has some improvements worth paying for. I had a graphite shaft installed in my 4 iron to make it a driving iron type club and a little more friendly off of longer Par 3's.

    Machine M10 Fixer Longneck (33", 350G, 2º, Copper badge)

In 2015 I decided I wanted to have a custom flatstick built just for me based on my results from a SAM fitting. I decided to contact Dave at Machine after some research and being a longtime fan of the photo thread here on WRX. I was scheduled in very quickly and the process began. I brought my longtime gamer in and measured results and Dave began putting together models based on my results. The cool part about Machine is the interchangeable hosel/head design that let us test various weights, hosel placements, and head designs. The results showed that I had a slight arc to my stroke and would benefit from something with little to no toe hang, so the longneck was put it. I also have an eye condition in my right eye that causes me to be "left eye" dominant despite being right handed, so Dave minimized the amount of offset in the hosel to compensate for that and allow my aim to be more consistent. My current gamer weighed in around 335 grams and caused me to have a bit of a glitchy takeaway and we tested different head weights and landed at 350 grams. My current gamer also had way too much loft for me stroke (4º) and SAM showed us that my initial roll worked best at around 2º. I went the "Spieth" route and had the alignment aid on the topline as it was easier to center the ball to the putter that way. And last but not least, the current gamer I kept mentioning was a BeCu B60 and was my first putter. I wanted a fairly basic putter, but decided to have my Machine cavity badge made from copper as a tribute to my gamer. The end product is below.

I like it. I think the CB's are harder to hit than the MB's. I never see guys playing a full set of CB's on tour or elsewhere. good switch

I played a good chunk of my high school and college rounds with a Pro Platinum Mid Sur. I still have it, but it hasn't been out of the closet since the anchor ban went into effect. I was in the golf store and came across a Studio Stainless version in amazing shape, had to get it. Might be a counter balanced project soon.

I'm a pretty loyal Stars and Mavs fan, but the NHL and NBA never get too much love in the golf accessory route unless you go custom. I ran across this while on Amazon and really liked it.

Completely, I have an older Cowboys mascot one that I like - but most are cheap and pretty ugly.

They’re both at around 375 grams headweights. Both the head and neck are a little longer. Not quite a “long neck” like my Tei3, but longer than standard

The turf interaction (on both full shots and pitches around the green) wasn't working well for me with the T7 58°. I was digging too much, despite the bounce being very similar to what I had been playing successfully before. There also weren't many grind options in the Mizuno stable and I had to look elsewhere.

With the newer MD4's coming out next year, the MD3 series has been dripping in price over the last few months. I am going to start 2018 with this MD3 and see where that takes me. I like the turf interaction and feel of it so far. However, that won't stop me from trying the SM7's when they debut.
