Ball Question, Can I do better for the money?

Question, is there a ball or balls, that is comparable in price to NXT Tour that is as long and has as good or better spin around greens. I am not really a short hitter and can move it out there with the driver. I can hit my irons pretty high and don't have an issue holding greens from the fairway. I am looking for something on chips and pitches that may bite better. So, better than NXT Tour, same price range. Greatly appreciate the feedback.

The NXT Tour works great for me, but I can absolutely get the same performance(or better) for less money.

TaylorMade Burner TP LDP could be had for $20/dozen, and was longer for me with equal spin.

New Maxfli U/3 is $25/dozen, and for me gets as good distance with more greenside spin.

Top Flite Gamer V2 to me plays pretty much identical to the NXT Tour(maybe the NXT Tour is a touch longer on the driver, but if so its feet longer, not yards) and I get equal greenside spin. Just ordered 90 of them for $70.

I would suggest you take a look at the Callaway Diablo Tour. I found it has terrific distance and pretty good spin around the green. Pretty comparable to the NXT Tour. I know you can get them at Walmart for $22/dozen, or maybe on sale some other places.

There are also some premium balls on sale, like the Callaway i series, or 1st generation TaylorMade Pentas. Those can be had for about $30/dozen.

+1 on the E5.

I swithched from titleist to the E5, I just hope they don't stop making them.

The urethane cover offers great spin around the greens, and is much straighter off the driver that the NXT or Pro V1

The 2007 NXT Tour used to be my favorite ball, however they are very overpriced (especially this year). There are plenty of multilayer, softer covered surlyn balls that will perform similarly for less. Here is a list to try:

Top Flite Gamer V2
Callaway HX Diablo Tour
Srixon Trispeed Tour
TM Burner TP LDP (or the Rocketballz since it is essentially the same ball)

While the e7 is probably the longest ball I have ever tried, it is alot harder than the balls mentioned above and probably the lowest spinning ball I have ever played. The e5 would be a good option if you are primarily looking for increased greenside spin, but the urethane cover and higher compression tend to lead to substantially increased spin off the tee. If you struggle with accuracy off the tee I would recommend staying away from all urethane balls.

Great suggestions , and I am sure to try some of them. So there isn't a ball with urethane cover for greenside spin but is a low spinner off the driver for distance and control?
I consider myself pretty accurate off the tee, and I can get rounds going at times with hardly no missed fairways and still moving it out there at a good distance also.

thanks!!
