I see Brendan Steele just tweeted there, "Starting to get really excited about the new 913 gear,cant wait to get it in the bag!"<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyone got any info or pics/links to what we could be looking at and when? Sounds like it could be sooner than we thought <img src='http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /><br />
<br />
EDIT: He just replied to me saying no pics yet, said he'l let me know when he gets them, should i be expecting a phone call? hahaha

    I've been told I should see them in July. Hope to see it sooner in some bags but Titleist has a tendency to tell players to keep from taking/posting any photos.<br />

    Titleist has a habit of having their staff players test the new stuff while at home and away from prying eyes (my camera) out on Tour.<br />

    Inside info, he said the 910 is about perfect and doubts that switching would benefit me.<br />
    <br />
    I think he'd tell me if it was super good so I could start saving.

    I heard that Titleist was starting from scratch and breaking barriers with the design of the driver head. They turned the head upside down and made the face deeper and stronger, incorporating a new metal named Zolex to give people more distance and accuracy. Forget the whiteboards and fubukis, they created a new shaft that is shaped like a sword to help cut through the air and give you awesome distance. Flex doesn't matter anymore, as it flexes to your swing speed. I'm calling that Titleist players go 4 for 4 in next years majors.

    Nope, I might have heard him mutter something about looks but couldn't fully understand him, but he said that the 910 is perfect right now.

    There's always room for improvement. Titleist should include draw and fade weighting, independent shaft rotation, lighter weight head and more forgiveness/bigger hot spot. And of course, more stock shaft options. Can't wait for this. The Razr Fit is a beast but I can be clumsy and I'm worried about the composite. I also like the sound of titanium just a bit more.

    Titleist is the last company I can imagine putting in fade/draw weighting but I suppose it's the next logical step. Independent shaft rotation seems like it may result in a SureFit hosel that's easier to break. Lighter head, I can't imagine them really doing. Forgiveness is always something to pursue, and I can't imagine them including more stock shaft options than 3-4.<br />
    <br />
    The 910 series is definitely the biggest jump since the 905R, which was itself the biggest jump since the 975D. I see the 913 an an evolutionary, not revolutionary improvement.

    I just hope they don't change the hosel, because that would reduce sales IMO.<br />
    <br />
    I wouldn't have an issue grabbing a head on here to put on my shaft, but the cost of a whole new driver.. No.

    I went to their oceanside facility to get fit in January and the guy doing the tour mentioned that they are working on redesigning the hosel to make it look less bulky on the hybrids. I can assume it will be the same for the driver and fairways.

    I sincerely hope they don't change the tips, but its all about making money so chances are old sure fits won't fit the new heads. Let's hope not!

    I bet their gonna F it up. 910 Line is played solid across the board. They'd have to 1) improve on the most loved Titleist driver since the 983K. 2) have unheard of shaft options. 3) get some Major Big Time Pros to switch over and play them. 4) have all the guys playing 910s switch over.<br />
    <br />
    I hope it's great, but I got my D3 9.5 D/1 PX 7B3 working great with a 5 yard power 290 fade. Little short but I love it.

    • Will be two heads for each club. Driver/fairway/hyrbrid. <br />
    • The new 2nd hybrid will be smaller, lower launching and more of a player’s hybrid. Driver and fairways will follow the same model as the current line. <br />
    • Will all be adjustable<br />
    • Current adapter will work<br />
    • Redesigning the adapter to look smaller and so when you adjust it the shaft and grip will not rotate, just the adapter. <br />
    <br />
    That’s all I got… Take it with a grain of salt…

    Ooooohhh! that new hybrid sounds salty! I will for sure get the driver and likely a fairway as well as soon as they come out but that players hybrid might have to get ordered as well!
