Bridgestone Ball Fitting

I went to a local Bridgestone ball fitting. I was using my Ping K15 driver with regular flex shaft. When I got fit for that driver it said I was getting a ball speed of 125 mph with and 88 mph club head speed. After this ball fitting I am thing something is fishy about the numbers Bridgestone gave me. Here are the results:

Q-Star:

HS : 88.7

BV : 115.5

LA : 11.9

BS: 2963

SS: 970

Distance : 182 (They said this drive had 24 yards of roll. So the total drive would be 206.)

Ideal:

HS : 88.7

BV : 131.2

LA : 14.1

BS: 2611

SS: 0

Distance : 229

E6:HS : 87.8

BV : 116.8

LA : 12.5

BS: 2263

SS: 313

Distance : 193 (they said this drive had 25 yards of roll and went further right than the q-star on the printout they gave me.The total drive here was 218.)

I am trying to figure out how I had a slower club head speed yet a faster ball speed. That just doesn't make any sense to me. If someone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it. And I know for a fact that I usually hit it around 220 when I'm on my local course because the bunker on the right is 225 yards from tee and I am usually within a couple yards of it.

Did you hit one of the shots more in the center of the club? The ratio of club speed and ball speed is called smash factor and is a measure of how well the ball was struck.

yeah every shot was in the center of the club face. I checked to make sure after every swing. That's why I was so confused about why this was happening.

I went with a friend to a Callaway fitting a while back....they had him hitting 6 irons....on one club they showed his swing speed and ball speed down over 10% from normal for him BUT showed him hitting the ball about 15% further...gotta love launch monitors for BS numbers....BTW he hits his own 6 iron about 170 with a good strike....their LM had him hitting it 190+... Gee could that be salesmanship at work????

yeah well I still think I am just gonna stick with the Q-star havent had a problem so why switch.
