B330s 2012

Seems to stay in the air FOOOOOOrever
So I have been playing the new B330s the last two weeks, I do like the ball and I usually switch between that and the Penta. I have noticed that this ball stays in the air for a lot longer then the past years model. I know that the dual dimple design is supposed to shallow out the angle the ball falls out of air, but it seems on downhill shots I am hitting it at least ten yards longer. Has anyone else noticed this happening to them? If so have you made any adjustments to compensate and have they worked for you?

I tend to hit about ten yards further with all balls on down hill shots.

Anyway, glad you like the ball. I have played it on and off, but haven't tried the current year version.

I do really like the ball... I understand that the ball will travel farther on downhill shots, and I am taking that into consideration when playing those shots, sorry I forgot to mention that, but is just seems to travel even farther then what I have played for. I mean I'm no all star here but I play to a 6, I just think that maybe because of that shallower angle of decent is really exaggerated when playing downhill, its probably something I'll just have to take into consideration from now on, or go back to the penta TP5. The B330 is crazy good in the wind though!

I played 9 with the TP5 and 9 with the B330 yesterday. I must say the TP5 felt better but the B330 is a performer. Alot softer feeling than last years.

Ha I did the same as well. My wife got me a sleeve of each to test out before I picked up 5 dozen FG tours. The B330s is a true gameer, period. The tp5 is awesome 5 iron in, but it felt like I was hitting knuckle balls with my hybrids and driver. the B330s had the top 6/6 drives with my driver and 4/4 drives with my hybrid. While the ball is awesome, I can't justify 45/dozen when I like how the FG tour plays as well and its $15 a dozen for blems.

Shot a 41 with the B330s and a 46 with the TP5.

Played this ball for the first time today and I must say I was very impressed. Long off the driver and great stopping power on the greens. I think I'm going to like this ball.

More spin around the greens than last years version? I am torn between the TP5, 330s (2011) and RX-S (2012). SS is 100-107.
