Playing 20XI-X currently, thinking about the ProV1

I know a ton of people swear by the ProV1 & ProV1X so I probably already know the answer to this. Anyway, I've been playing the 20XI-X & I don't mind it. I play well with it, there's no glaring weakness in my game with it, but I can't help but feel that there's a better option. My main consideration is switching to either the ProV1 or ProV1X. Just looking for some recommendations. My drives are usually in the 250-275 range & pretty accurate(slight draw usually). Irons are fairly accurate (8 iron=150). My short game is where I could use the biggest improvement. Thanks for any & all help guys!

If your looking to improve your short game the 20XI-S is where it is at. this ball is sweet around the greens giving me more spin than any ball currently on the market. I find the Maxfli U/4 and the 20XI to spin the most. The 20XI for me is longer off the driver and straighter but it might have just been a bad driving round too. I have had great success with both balls and would not deter you from either. Give the 20Xi a shot, get used to the feel and enjoy all the spin!

I tried the 20XI-S & just didn't really love it. It wasn't awful, maybe just a bad day & not really the ball. IDK, just didn't love it. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. I hit a really good amount of fairways now with the 20XI-X, how much more side spin off the driver does the ProV1X have? Would it be comparable? I don't want to completely sacrifice my drives for the added feel around the green.

I think the ProV1x might spin a touch less off driver, but I don't think I could notice. The 20XIs is the spiniest ball I've ever played. If you want more spin around the greens (for me spin=control) go the 20XIs route. In my game, it spun more than the ProV1 (current gamer). I chose the ProV1 over the 20XIs tho because it cut through the wind better throughout my bag.

For me the Pro V1X and 20XI-X have about the same driver spin. I feel that the Nike is the straighter of both balls and when it comes to 30-60 yard wedge spin the Nike 20XI shines! I can not stop a Pro V1x to save my life. I can't stand the ball and I like the Pro V1 just a little more. The Pro V1 while softer is not as predictable for me into and around the green which is why it wins out for me. I'm a Srixon Z-star player after playing the Pro V1 for years. If there was a blend of the feel/durability of the Z-Star and the spin of the Nike 20XI-S there would be only one ball I played.

Over the last few years I've played the Pro V1, Pro V1x, Srixon's and the Bridgestone's. I've found that the Nike's new technology takes a little getting used to, but if you play them side by side with anything else - in my humble opinion, they are winners.
