Interesting watching the guys out on tour. Different strokes for different folks. Not many putting grips the same.

Just switched to the "Corey Pavin." Turn the hands over. Left goes week, right strong. locks wrists in place and elbows go in as well which locks them. Very easy to swing the putter

Thats a pretty cool collection of pictures, but I gotta ask, where are the belly putter grips?

The only one I've seen much of is Webb Simpson's article in GD a couple months ago, and I'm not a big lefty low guy.

Where is Stricker's grip? Thats who I wanna see....
Another great ball striking round yesterday, marred by 20 putts on 9.....Makes me wanna give it up, with more putts than shots....

Badds' grip in this bunch looks the best to me by far. classic. and as it turns out, he's a great putter. go figure. maybe it's just the angle, but it looks like his left foot is turned in a little bit. does anyone know if/why he does this? maybe to create stability in his left side? just curious, cus I've heard its better to stand open than closed whilst putting...a la Tiger and Jack. I guess you could be slightly open, with a turned in left foot tho.

I feel a little silly not recognizing the guy who is wearing the White TM hat but don't let my son see this picture! He does that with both of his pointer fingers running down the grip and i tell him it's bad form. Oops.

I agree. It looks like his hands were meant to grip that putter. Is that a single or a double reverse overlap?

I think that is Greg Owen....could be wrong though..........I used that same grip for a few years on and off

That is the first time I have ever seen anyone use that style of grip with the index fingers down the shaft but me. I always thought I was very odd. Now not as much. It just feels very natural and comfortable for me. The only difference for me though is that my right fingers lap over my left index finger that goes down the shaft. No one taught me this. Again it just feels right.

Yep index pointers is old school, most used to do it right hand though, not both, I used both for a while, but usually it's right index only, I can change a million things putting, but that right index is always down the shaft, I couldn't put without that, all you need to do is put up pics of the greats over the years, none of them had the same grip or stance, Palmer, Nicklaus, Tiger, Hogan, Snead, Trevino, Floyd, none had similar styles, so I always tell people, what ever feels good and gives you confidence, THAT'S RIGHT, if it goes in the hole under pressure, it's a good grip and stroke. LOL
