The tour version is incredible. For some reason every retail version Ive had, when I miss it, it goes a million miles to the left. Super long I just cant control the retail version.

Played the 13* for a while. In the beginning I was impressed by the distance. It is a very deep club. But soon after it revealed its flaws...iffy on less than perfect lies, stock fuji gold shaft is trash, draw bias causes some hooking issues. The problem with mishitting a 3-wood that goes this long is that mistakes are compounded by yardage. Switched to a steel 3-wood with a better shaft that I hit a bit shorter but more consistently and never looked back.

I've owned MANY 3 woods, and I didn't think that anything would kick the V-steel out of my bag....but this did. It was an impulse purchase from eBay. 13* Launcher Titanium with stiff NV shaft. After I bought it, I took it to the range and the thing was AMAZING! VERY long and straight with great trajectory. I hit a couple of shots with my buddy's 10.5* driver off the deck in comparison and this was longer. The first shot I hit with it on the course, I hit the back of the green (the ball rolled off) from 255...and it was a large green. I think it might have carried 275-280 yards.

If anyone is thinking about getting this club, do NOT hesitate. It's by far the best fairway wood out there. You really can't ask for more. It looks great (sets up sqare to slightly open), and is long and straight.

Loved mine... and still do... Its just because I can't resist and am a club ho that I replaced them. (But CB exotics are a worthy successor)

This is the best 3 wood I've ever owned; long, forgiving and accurate off the tee or the deck. Bought it on Ebay with I believe a stock Aldila NV 65 S shaft. My swing speed varies from 100-105 with a medium tempo, with that there is something that works very well with the NV stiff shafts. I wish I would have found this out earlier, so keep this shaft in mind if your SS and tempo are similar.

Owned plenty of trashy pop-up shafts like I think most of us have, which brings me to an important point, what does the "stiff" stamp on shafts really mean? In the old days before the graphite explosion when you bought a Dynamic Gold steel shaft with "stiff" stamped on it you dam sure know what you were getting. With todays graphite shafts OEM's and other wise the "stiff" stamp has lost its meaning. Demoing clubs on the range is important as it has ever been.

Is this Launcher Titanium wood bigger than the standard Launcher Steel 2006?. I am looking at a bigger head for more confidence off the tee when the driver is not behaving properly.

Awesome fairway woods even by today's standards. I still play a 15* 3w and 19* 5w in my rotation. Straight, easy to hit of the fairway, great from the tee. I can work it a bit both ways - on a course I play a few times each year I'll sling a draw from the tee on a long par 5 with a sharp dogleg left. It's very nice to have that shot with the 3w and to have confidence with both. Highly recommended if you can still find them!

Just picked up a 5 wood for $20 for fun. It crushes the ball high and long. Does anyone know the hosel diameter on these? Might re-shaft.

I still play the 15* and have a spare in the garage just in case. I'm trying to find the specs on it (shaft lenght, lie, swing weight) if anyone knows them.
