The bag is pretty much set but I'll have to update my irons to get into a few events next year. Damn groove rule. Expect to see some new (or new to me) 712 CBs in here soon!

Playing to a +1 and have been working really hard on my swing this year. I broke my left wrist a couple of years back and developed some very bad habits in the backswing. It's still a work in progress but a MAJOR improvement from the start of the season.

Swing update: Got some quality work in this winter. Really looking forward to the season. Here's how it's looking.

Thanks guys. It's a PITA to make swing changes here in Canada because the season is so short and changing things mid event will make you lose your mind. Hoping to do a bunch of work indoors this winter at a great facility here in town.

Nice bag and swing. Which course is that at by the way? I thought the first couple of videos looked like Renfrew, but I could be wrong

I'm at Falcon Ridge, nowhere near the course Rivermead is but I like it all the same.

Are you joining the OAC in the winter, or are you going somewhere else? I was there last year and really liked it, so i'll be joining again this winter.

Ya I'm hoping to join the OAC. We used to practice there in the winter when I played at Ottawa U. Do you know what the rates are? The membership info isn't on the site and the stuff on OttawaGolf is pretty dated.

last year I believe I paid just over $600 with taxes. It is a little pricey, but just to be able to hit balls anytime I want in the winter makes it worth it for me. I can't take 5 months off without hitting balls, i'll lose my mind!

They do have some pretty good instructors also, Colin and Co. are really great to work with.

Well my first edition of WITB lasted about a week. Nothing new for some here, but when I find gear that I like, it generally stays in play for a while. This is especially true with irons. I just got some Titleist 712 CBs from the lovely folks at FedEx. Just in time for Men's Night tomorrow.

The R7 TPs will be retired, but kept around as a back up. They made a hell of a pitch to stay in with their last round being a 2 under 70 on Sunday. It was the absolute highest I could have shot considering how well I hit it.

Check out the new irons! They look sweet - I'll game them with S300s tomorrow (impatient much?) before swapping the shafts with the X100s currently in the TPs.

you're on wrx and didnt order "tour issue" x100s? your missing out on tighter dispersion, more distance and better feel.. XD

Haha I actually tried to buy some last week and got beat to it by another guy at my course. I'll just have to wait and grab them from him once his experiment is over with!

Won some cash at an event a couple of weeks ago so I ordered some new SM4s. The 56 is going to be bumped to 57 to give me a 5 degree gap between all wedges. The rough at my home course can get really nasty, so I went all the way to 62* to give me something to junk it out of the deep stuff and not have it get away from me on the greens.

Do you think it's hard to hit the tour 3 wood of the deck? Looking into one and that might be the deal breaker
