Can't see any real difference???

+1

I don't want to be THAT GUY, but i really can't notice real difference, sweet shaft by the way but anything else looks like another TMaG driver for the end of the year, they said something like "we pushed the center of gravity lower to promoted a higher trayectory and less spin" but in a smaller head for the better player who wants to work the ball. I'll hope someday taylormade could back in black but as an marketing & publicity student i can say these days are far, really far away

390cc that is awesome. For some reason a 390 head gives me more confidence then the huge 460 heads. I feel like I am hitting a 3 wood and I put a great swing on it instead if swinging out of my shoes. I'm excited for the comparison pics.

a 390cc head would be awesome! It does look smaller. Any idea on who might be playing the V3 on tour?

This is the one Sergio is using I am pretty sure. When I was watching him hit driver at the Bridgestone I couldn't believe how small his driver looked to my eye and then I believe Willpeoples made a post about this version shortly after that

You gotta be kidding me....Is this like the 4th R11? Never will I play a club from this joke of a company. How many drivers have they put out since Titleist released the 910?
It sound more like TM wants their staff to be as happy as they can make them by playing equipment that the tour staff wants. Why not make Serg a 390cc, have it match the current retail cosmetics, and let him win with it. The tour players at TM get to play WANT THEY WANT TO PLAY (and TM is willing to make it for them).

It does the 910 and Titleist no good that they have won 2 majors this year with no current product. 909 (Webb) and they 913 (Rory). Shoot even Webb is playing OLD blades, and a Ping putter. I'm sure Titleist is loving that

FYI. I do not play TM (no reason in particular)

Joke of a company? Sounds like someone doesnt like them....Its hard to call 52% of all metalwoods market share a joke...
If I was able to dominate an industry like that, call me a joke all you want....
Sounds a bit like a jaded little hater....

and there was only 1 r11, and 1 r11s released to retail...
As far as tour issue variations, every company does it...if they dont, they dont keep their horses very happy...

Exactly. You have 1 retail offering, and the custom ones for the pros. No different than anyone else is using. And that "joke of a company" must be doing something right, when you see an R11s driver in over 75% of the bags on the Web.com tour. Many of which in the bags of non TM staff. I've even seen a couple sprayed black with "other OEM" graphics in play.
Personally I like. And find the R11s the best driver I tried yet.

I want, I want, I want - despite the fact that this is probably not best suited to me (like 95% of WRX subscribers) and suppose the only way we will ever get our hands on one is to pay 4 x the price of regular one for in essence, what is 15% less product - TM marketing department - you truly are second to none!

LOL this is awesome. I am trying to decide if this is merely a troll post or the true sentiments of someone who is just utterly misinformed and guided by jealousy and hate. Either way, good for a chuckle. :good:

Much smaller. Even smaller than the R11 dot head. This one is 390 cc. Ill try to take some comparison pictures tonight.
Does 390cc sound a bit familiar? It should....That is the same volume size of one of the greatest drivers ever made. So rather than buy this new driver, just put that 390cc R510-TP back in the bag. Remember it is the one driver you just couldn't bring yourself to part with, so you stashed it away in your closet or garage thinking I just might need it back in the bag again someday.

WELL NOW IS THE TIME TO PUT IT BACK IN THE BAG! In fact, that is probably what Sergio would really like to do, but unfortunately he has a contractual obligation with TM requiring him to play the latest "new white model". Looks like TM is finally giving Sergio and perhaps others what the best players really want...SMALLER DRIVER HEADS! Expect this trend to continue. (Huge heads were never such a great idea to begin with).

Hahhaha... yeah, they're SUCH a joke of a company! Because as we all know pros play retail versions of all of the OEM's clubs right? C'mon man. If you don't like Taylormade, don't like them. To use this as a reason? That's a reach at best... There isn't a pro on earth that plays off the rack gear, from clubs to shoes to almost anything. If you think Titleist, Ping, or whomever else isn't doing some sort of tweaking to their pros' gear, then you're misinformed. This is how you keep your marketing assets happy and playing your equipment.

Cool! Love the looks of smaller heads although I may need something in the mid 400s.
