Junior Giveaway

1. This is my contest, and I decide the winner, no complaining.
2. Post a picture in this thread of your report card with an auxillary piece of paper with your screenname on it. Both must be included in the SAME picture to verify it's your report card.
3. Black out all sensitive information before posting the picture: home address, school address, and your last name. If you don't know how to black out areas of a picture, get a parent, teacher, friend, etc. to teach you. Photots with sensitive info will be deleted and you will not be in contention.
4. NO SOB STORIES. I don't want to hear about how much this shaft will change your golf game and how desperately you need it, or how your pet gerbil was diagnosed with cancer and has only minutes to live.
5. DO NOT PM OR E-MAIL ME, if you have questions, post them in the thread, I will then PM you an answer.

Yes, exactly right, I want to see a progress report of your grades last semester. The more info the better, I want to see what I get, I may choose excellence, significant improvement, excellence in science, etc.

Sort of, it's a reward for kids on GolfWRX who are good students.

You don't have to have straight A's to get this, if you worked your way up from a C average to a solid B+ that may be enough to move me to picking you.

You never know until you try.

Here's mine. Just for information our grading scale is 93-100 = A, 86-92 = B.

Not too bad, Science is my best subject.

Hey guys...i'm pretty new to the board and haven't posted to much.... you can all call me Joe..i'll be posting a lot more here. Heres mine..we use a block schedule so we only have 4 classes a semester...its hard to see because of the date but my grade in the last class was an 89....since its a college class all the other term grades didn't need to be submitted

Hmm, This is a problem. My report card from my school in Oz is not really a report "card" persay, but more a report book. Each subject has its own page and we have 8-9 subjects.

So how do I do show my report from last semester?

Taylormadefan has assembled a good contest here and with some decent prizes for doing well in school. In the past there have been all kinds of threads on ways for our high school students, how to get into Div I, II & III college golf programs. Heck, I can't think of a better way to get a golf scholarship, or any scholarship for that matter, than with some good grades from high school. :drinks:

I've noticed there are a bunch of freshman, sophmore and juniors on Golfwrx, I wonder if it ever occurred to any that it is not too late to get those grades up to "par", should they be lacking. :D The only reason I mention this is because we all know that all you young adults in here are not going to be making the pro ranks.....That's a Fact Jack!! :drinks:

Ok juniors, let's give taylormadefans contest a renewed interest and get some of those grades in here, ok? :drinks:

Looks like theres quite a few of us out there with some good looking grades.....i'm still not sure why more people aren't taking advantage of this chance for a new shaft.....all you gotta do is post your report card....I'd like to personally thank TAylorMadefan for giving us this opportunity not only to win a new shaft....but to also see the true grades of the other kids around here....I'm a junior myself...starting my 2nd year on the time here in NC.....Lets go people!! lets get some more grades up here!!!!!!

I've got exactly the same problem, except my school's in Scotland... What do we do?

OK, well here goes. The pictures are a little fuzzy so here's what I got anyway:

Gaeilge/Irish = A

Béarla/English = B

Mata/Maths = A

Creideamh/Religion = D (No idea why we do this, teacher = psycho anyway)

Spanish = 96

European Studies = B+

Soccer = A

Chemistry = A

Italian = A

Accounting = B

I'll just write down what i got anyways:

Year 10 (Semester 2)

Math = A

Advance Math = A-

Science = A+

Advance Science = A

History = A

Social Education = A+

Physical Education = A

Christian Studies = A

English = A (2nd best in Grade, woot!)

I think that's it. See what happens this year with Math B (middle math), Math C (top math), Physics, Chemistry, Modern History, English, RE, PE lol :drinks: Hardest subjects you can do in Queensland!

Guys, report books are fine, just take pictures of each page, as long as I can read them, just remember to follow all the other rules and to black out sensitive information. (cool)

Can I donate something to someone with the worst grades, as I don't think grades matter?

Then that would be a different contest, right?? I'm of the opinion that grades do matter, and more important they matter more than most think. (cool)

Only someone with a good job, and with good pay but one with no education, would make a statement such as grades don't matter.......For all the rest though, it does, and they do matter, grades that is. The only way I'd make a statement that grades don't matter, would be to someone that I was competing against and he had good grades and I didn't. :tongue:
